“Excellent hotel for travellers ”

Stayed here while en route to the north of England. The hotel is conveniently located when coming from Dover or Folkstone. I was pleasantly surprised by the newly decorated rooms. Staff was friendly and helpfull with everything as to be expected from a Holiday Inn.

This was a good stay, greeting by reception staff was great. I was in room 4, which was spacious, bed comfortable, ensuite good size, desk to work at. The only downside in the room was there was no ceiling light and the glazing was single, so got some road noise. I also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was pleasant, not a huge menu.

“A most enjoyable stay”

Stayed as a walking group of 16 men occupying the rooms as single occupants for up to nights. We found the hotel rooms clean and comfortable with efficient heating and the staff exceptionally helpful and polite. The buffet food provided for our group was very good, tasty and welcomed by the group: and there was plenty available. The breakfast was also good offering a reasonable choice. We would not hesitate to return without hesitation. It was our second visit. The hotel offered good value not only for accommodation but also for food and drinks. The events team, receptionists. Marta (the duty manager and her team ) could not do more to make us feel welcome. Staff with whom we spoke were happy in their jobs and nothing was too much trouble. Front facing rooms encountered some road noise if windows were opened and guests in some of the rooms over the kitchens could hear some sounds from the kitchen fans. None of these issues detracted from the welcoming hotel and the enjoyment of our stay.

Mixed bag. The food options were really great and in particular they had a lot of great vege options, all of which tasted lovely. Good experiences with the restaurant staff, who were all lovely. Mixed bag. The food options were really great and in particular they had a lot of great vege options, all of which tasted lovely. Good experiences with the restaurant staff, who were all lovely. The room was big but the bathroom ceiling had mould, several of the towels had legitimate holes in them and when we had the misfortune of needing to move the bed (no bedside plugs, just the lamp plugs that were central behind the bed), you could tell nobody had cleaned behind it in months/years. Couple of other bits, when we booked we were told there would be an NHS discount but the reception manager denied this. When we checked in nobody mentioned that you have to buy breakfast the night before to get the cheaper price and then the reception manager (Monika) was deeply unhelpful and quoted "policy" when I explained that I am not clairvoyant so had no way of knowing to buy breakfast in advance (this was eventually resolved by the restaurant staff but led to an unnecessary argument). Good location for accessing Kent.
