Outstanding on every level. On arrival we were made to feel so so welcome by the reception staff. The manor itself is set in the most stunning surroundings! There was not 1 thing out of place! The decor the furnishings - EVERYTHING 1st class! Our suit reminded us of a little apartment in Italy! It had its own courtyard with a table and chairs outside (via the French doors) I kept looking around saying ‘wow’ at every detail!! The bed was HUGE IN the ‘Elizabeth’ suite! It felt like you were sleeping on a cloud! The bedding and pillows were the best we have ever ever had in any kind of hotel from all around the world! There was a little fridge in the room with ice cold fresh water and a tiny flask of milk! You had your own easy to use coffee machine (Nespresso) and plenty of tea! The little touches were amazing! Freshly baked cookies! The bath was the biggest bath I’ve ever had! Again the attention to detail was outstanding! I’m not going to insult this review by talking about how clean the suit was… OUTSTANDING EVERYWHERE! The cleaning staff work so hard! We enjoyed a swim before our evening meal! This morning we had fresh muffins hung on the suit door! We had the full English breakfast - again ‘outstanding’ (are you seeing my point now) we cannot fault anything at all! Cooked to perfection! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. You will not find one fault with your stay!! … we also booked for a Spa treatment with Emma. Honestly the BEST back,shoulder massage I’ve ever had. I walked outside like I was floating! You will not be disappointed when you stay!!! Obviously we’re coming again ! We stayed in the Elizabeth Suite

From the moment we arrived at Boscundle Manor it was clear that this was no ordinary hotel experience. Nestled close to the Eden Project, this gem became our home away from home, thanks largely to the exceptional attention to detail and warmth provided by Louise. Louise went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfectly tailored to our needs. She didn't just assign us a room; she took the time to listen, to understand our preferences, and then recommended a choice that exceeded our expectations. Louise didn’t stop there. Her extensive knowledge of the local area transformed our visit into an adventure. She provided us with invaluable recommendations for nearby attractions, hidden gems, and must-try restaurants. Navigating a new area can be daunting, but Louise alleviated our concerns with her expert tips on parking and dining. She guided us to the best spots, ensuring we spent less time searching and more time enjoying. Thanks to her, we discovered charming eateries that offered excellent local dishes, and we never had to worry about where to leave our car. Speaking of food, the dining experience at Boscundle Manor was also excellent. From breakfast to dinner, every bite was a testament to quality and care. We left each meal feeling satisfied and eager for the next. And the indoor pool became our oasis of relaxation. Great place, really informal relaxed and insightful advice on the area. We upgraded our room on arrival and were shown all the rooms we could book to make sure we were happy. Lovely freshly cooked breakfasts. Comfortable lounge, with a ton of cool cook books to dip into. Great pool table (in a separate room, cool black felt!) with its own bar so you can choose where you want to be, lounge or bar. We are in the evening two nights and food was delicious. It’s not a huge menu but it was all cooked to order well presented and tasted great. Excellent wine list. This is an old hotel that’s been lovingly restored, no creaking floors, it’s tasteful a little quirky but not gimmicky. Our room had a stunning bathroom, huge bath, separate rain full shower. We even had our own entrance to a mini terrace. This also led up to the beautiful swimming pool which is heated. We didn’t use the spa but the menu of treatments looked extensive. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff amazing, perfect location to visit Eden Project as well as Charlestown, Fowey and St.Austell. Plenty of private parking and charging for electric cars.
