“Better than expected”
Friends booked a table for 4, and after reading some recent reviews I was a bit worried. But we had a wonderful meal and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had 2 curries, 1 cod dish and a gammon dish. “A relaxing pleasant weekend”

“Great pub with excellent amenities and super staff”
Excellent well equipped room with many extras such as room fans and a fridge (not expected in a pub room).Ultra fluffy towels and toiletries were a bonus. “Good riverside value for money”
Really good service, nice food, great atmosphere, right on the river. Great both inside and out. Good pub food. Very pleasant welcome and service. Not too busy, but just right numbers. Reasonably priced.

“Well worth a visit, but gets very busy in Summer.”
Huge car park (essential given how busy they get in the Summer). Wonderful position with great views down to the river. Large interior and huge area outside. Nicely decorated. Friendly efficient staff. Food jolly good but 4* is a reasonable score. Prices reasonable. Will return.
