“AMROCKs!”
John is a great bloke who will help out any way he can, very welcoming and friendly. The room was great and we had a very comfortable two nights. The breakfast at the cafe was top quality. “Delighted with our "find"!”
A last-minute decision to go to the Yorkshire v Notts cricket match meant a quick search of accommodation and up popped the Amrock - just 3 minutes' walk to the cricket ground, and with free parking too!! “Fantastic and friendly”
Stayed three nights with my four year old - can’t rate this place, both host John and it’s location, highly enough. John couldn’t do enough for us. “Fantastic stay”
We had a fantastic stay at this guest house, the host John was amazing, he couldn't do enough for us, extremely helpful and kind. We can't wait to book and stay again. Also the location is spot on, thank you for a memorable stay

“Helpful owner”
Pleasant owner. Lovely room. Great bed. Awful noise from water pipes anytime the toilet is used. Shower needs a good scrubbing. We saw the state of a bathroom with door left open. Bath full of clothing. Kitchen very untidy. John is really helpful and the room is great value.
