Gorgeous boutique B&B in a great location. Communication was easy, we picked up our keys from the key lock outside and the main door opens to a very stylish hall, with communal lounge and breakfast area. Our room was on the top floor, just right size for 2. Clean and fresh with lots of storage room. Shower was a little small ( built into the roof) but enough for me (5ft 4). Any taller, you would need to request another room. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice range of cereals, fruit, yogurt or warm pancakes, toast, bagels or croissants. I had the best cheesy omelette with American style crispy bacon….. There is room for 2 cars I think, but they really only fit small compacts, I parked my car in Mount Wise (5mins away) and free from 4pm to 9am. Karen and Andy were lovely hosts and if we come back, we will visit again.

“The brilliant summer breeze”

We stayed at Summer Breeze b&b just last week and it was nothing far from perfect. The breakfast was lovely each morning with a stunning view of the sea. “Great Autumn Getaway”

We booked this at short notice for a good price. We were sent the keycode to get in but on arrival I struggled finding it!!! We booked this at short notice for a good price. We were sent the keycode to get in but on arrival I struggled finding it!!! Totally my fault as it was right outside the door, I did not have my glasses on. Anyway I called the number in the window and was then met by the owner who gave me the keys to our room. The hotel is very clean, our room was on the top floor and had everything that we needed for our weeks holiday. There are only 3 parking spaces on the front of the hotel on a first come first served basis. We were unable to secure a space until the last 2 days however, there is a car park with plenty of spaces just around the corner. We parked in the side road on double yellows just to unload the car, this is advisable if you have a bit of stuff. The location is really good as you are a short walk to the high street and beaches but just far enough away from it at night, Newquay is a very busy resort. Breakfast was really good and the owners are very hospitable providing good information on the local areas. Due to Covid rooms are not serviced but you just put your rubbish outside the door and your towels in a bag outside the door when you want them changing. If we were to return to Newquay we would stay here again, though I think it is a little too far away for us now. I would definitely recommend to others.

Having been holidaying/visiting Newquay yearly for most of my life I asked my self the question “ why have I not stayed here before ?” And the answer is simple, it’s so lovely that it’s always been fully booked and whenever I’ve used a search engine often at the last minute this B&B never comes up because there won’t be any availability. And now I know why. The property is located on Mount wise, the main road thru Newquay so its very easy to find. There is parking available and we took advantage of that. The owner had previously sent a text asking of our arrival time so she could be there to greet us which was a nice touch, we also met Ted the dog who is also very happy to greet you too. The property is decorated really beautifully with a very modern colour scheme which was fresh and inviting. Our room was on the second floor which was spacious and very clean. Couldn’t fault it. There was also tea and coffee making facilities, a flat screen wall mounted TV and large built in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The en-suite was perfect with fresh clean towels provided. Although we are used to a huge bed at home the bed here was I think a double but even so very comfortable and we had a great sleep. My husband and I were only staying for 1 night so we only got to sample the delicious cooked to order full English breakfast once, the home made jams on toast were a favourite of my husband and on checking out of the property the owner was actually making another batch of strawberry jam which smelled divine. I would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone. The location to the beach ,town, bars and restaurants are literally 5 mins walk away. This is a little gem that hopefully will be available the next time I plan a visit to my future retirement destination. Thank you Summer Breeze, you have a wonderful B&B to be proud of.
