“Excellent food with outstanding service”
The staff are outstanding, both friendly and efficient. We had two courses from the set menu plus a la carte starters. We were particularly impressed with the steak course as well as the complementary bread, spreads and gazpacho. The panna cotta deserts were delicious

“Excellent, 10 out of 10!”
Went for a meal, last minute decision, rang and they fitted us in. Walked in and saw Encore and Camden Ales on tap, best start you could have and it only got better. “Lovely welcoming stay”
A lovely atmosphere in the hotel and setting. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast. Rooms are a tad snug and had a bit of a wood louse problem. It was nice to arrive to a fan in the room as it was a very hot day. Mattress was a bit soft for me being 7 months pregnant it was hard to get comfortabl… more

“A treat not a regular place to stay”
It was the right choice for us to go for a downstairs, courtyard room. The ceilings were a bit low, the eaves would have been really low. The room was across from the pub.
