The moment we arrived, we fell in love with the place. If you're looking for a movie like Tuscany spot to relax, take in everything that is great about this amazing region, this is the spot! We like to keep visiting new places but this is one spot where the entire family said; we'd love to comeback! It combines the charm that only thousand of years can create renovated with great taste and owned by family that is passionate about the place. Thank you so much Nico for your great family style hospitality, big thanks to your mother Francesca for organizing the bday cake for Antoine, so generous and kind of you. The BBQ night made us feel like Home! Go visit the winery next door, pretty amazing to learn about the history of the castle owners (past and present), thanks to Nico for the reservations and recommendation. The castle restaurant is ok but not worth the price they charge. Nico's friends owns a great pizzeria up the hill, great family there who owns it and way more fun. The apartment we had for our family of 6 felt like a house, it was very spacious and certainly scored 100pct for the Tuscany atmosphere experience, loved everything about it. The pool is awesome, especially after a hot day visiting the country side! GO GO GO but this is a peaceful place, not the party bash place, loved it and so did our kids who love the country.

If you are in this area La Sorgente di Francesca is a must stay for every good reason.

A very cute picturesque place.Comfortable room.Beutifull grounds.welcomning staff.had a very memorable 3 nights stay.need own vehicle . Nearest train station is about 5 kms. Coffee tea maker in room would make a big difference. Wifi is patchy

Location lovely and peaceful. We chose the Papavero bedroom. The bed was uncomfortable and shower too small. If you use the air conditioning you have a horrible noise every 2 minutes so you could not sleep - don't go in summer unless you don't need air conditioning. Room was not cleaned every day a… Meer

If you use the air conditioning you have a horrible noise every 2 minutes so you could not sleep - don't go in summer unless you don't need air conditioning. Room was not cleaned every day and pool towels not replaced. Pool was nice but lounge chairs uncomfortable (no cushioning) and old. Breakfast poor. However, it was a nice place and the hosts pleasant so worth a stay.
