After reading reviews on here we was a bit worried BUT HOW WRONG Wanted a relaxing week and get away and that’s exactly what we got Hotel was just perfect with an amazing view ! Made to feel so welcom by the family who run it they could not do do enough for us Rooms lovely and clean, All the lovely Greek food was amazing for sure will be returning in 2019 if not before x

“Alkyon Beach Hotel”

Amazing, beautiful place. I recommend this place for everyone looking to visit Greece and this hotel is wonderful. The kids had a lot of fun and there were a ton od breathtaking trips, including a trip through the nearby sea on a boat rented from the hotel.

Was worried after no reviews for 4 years, but shouldn’t have worried. Reception staff excellent (Michaelo ) any small problems resolved fast. Pool bar inexpensive ouzo/mixer €3 large beer €4. Large chips €4. Breakfast good international selection. Can spit to the excellent sandy beach. Rooms like p… more

Large chips €4. Breakfast good international selection. Can spit to the excellent sandy beach. Rooms like premier inn( but no kettle). Little supermarket beside hotel English prices but cigarettes <€4. Very little local transport , minibus only to Corfu town 3 times daily. boat trips reasonably expensive( return to Paleokastritsa €80-€100) Excellent splash pool for kids with water park features.

“Beautiful views”

We arrived to be greeted by a member of staff. Please remember you have to pay room tax. This was 12 euros. We were shown to our room. Superior double with a sea view. That was exactly what we got. We arrived to be greeted by a member of staff. Please remember you have to pay room tax. This was 12 euros. We were shown to our room. Superior double with a sea view. That was exactly what we got. Room was big and spacious. Modern designed. Small kitchenette. No cooker or microwave. And very basic utensils. Watch the kettles are very cheap and just keep boiling you have to switch them off yourself. The gardens are very pretty and well kept. The pool area has wooden sun beds. The only thing with the pool. 1 lot of steps that you get down into the deep end of the pool . The other steps are built into the pool. And there's nothing to hold on to. A rail in the middle of these steps would be useful. The only bar is the pool bar. Food was excellent .drinks were good beers and wines. A Little more expensive than in the local taverns. The hotel provide a bus service to the beach. It is hilly and quite a away. The beach is by a campsite. Which looks like it should belong in Jamaica. Facilities for the public. Are minimum. Toilets. Changing facilities. Sunbed with a coffee and a water were charged at 4 euros each. I think the biggest thing to mention is the walk to the main strip. It is extremely hilly. And winding. If you have walking difficulties or small children . This may affect your holiday. No bus service is available. The hotel is not for disabled people at all. The hotel had a big problem with ants around the pool and balconies. Please take mosquito repelant as we were bitten so much. The strip has a variety of bars. Supermarkets. Food restaurants. Casablanca is very good for food. Drinks and service. The hotel is nice. The view beautiful. The weather was great.
