“Good appartements and location, could do with update”

Rotondo residence is a group of appartements nicely located in a beautiful garden. The there is a good swimming pool (ashame it is closed between 13.00 and 16.00). Rotondo residence is a group of appartements nicely located in a beautiful garden. The there is a good swimming pool (ashame it is closed between 13.00 and 16.00). The appartements are of a good size. Ours could have done with a smal modernization. Especially the bed/couch was horrible to sit on. The location is good with on walking distance a supermarket and restaurant. There are beautiful beaches. A big negative is missing WiFi. There is only some conection at the reception.

“Family Holiday”

Family holiday two adults and three children aged 16 - 10yrs. Accommodation was clean and tidy but slightly dated and in need of modernisation. Lovely location, gardens and access via paved walkway. Pool was great for all the family and plenty of loungers to relax on . Lifeguard was always on duty.… more

Pool was great for all the family and plenty of loungers to relax on . Lifeguard was always on duty. Staff helpful via email communication before booking, arranging airport transfers. Close to lots of restaurants, numerous beaches and local supermarkets. Free 'Mare Mare' shuttle bus to beaches located just outside accommodation. Enjoyable family holiday

Porto Rotondo is a lovely modern town on the edge of the Costa Smeralda. There are loads of lovely beaches only a short drive away, as well as some within Porto Rotondo itself - I believe there is a bus shuttle in the town to go to the various beaches if you don't have transport. The residence is easy to find and is in a quiet spot close to the road in/out of town and also close to the supermarket, shops, port, etc. The staff was lovely - really friendly and helpful. As we arrived very early in the morning, and weren't due to leave until late at night, we were allowed to use the pool outwith the standard check in and out times. Eg check in was 4pm but we were allowed to use the pool all day beforehand. The pool was beautiful, quite big, usually fairly quiet and really clean. There is a lifeguard on duty during opening hours and he is also good for keeping kids and teens from becoming too boisterous! The apartment was OK, but a little expensive for what you get - eg there was no toaster or kettle. It could also have done with being smartened up a bit and some areas weren't particularly clean (oven, balcony, floors in general). However, the beds and towels were very clean. It was supposed to be a two bedroom apartment but one room is on a mezzanine so it's not particularly private. The WIFI was a bit erratic and went off completely a few times, for a good few hours each time. Finally, the air-con is just one unit in the living area so the bedroom was quite hot and stuffy at night as the cool air couldn't make it that far!
