We have just returned from one week's stay here. We were very pleased. We arrived quite late on our first night but having informed Marco in advance, he was there to meet us, let us in and welcome us. The street is nice and quiet (you can hear the trains so if you are a very light sleeper that might be an issue but it never bothered us) that is super handy for the city centre. It took us just 10 mins each day to walk to the Santa Maria Novella and the main train station which are in the centre of town. Marco took his time to show us on a map how to take the easiest route. He also let us keep the map which was really useful and he gave us some good recommendations especially for places to eat. We really appreciated escaping the bustle of the centre after long days of sight-seeing. The short walk was welcome. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and modernly and elegantly decorated. We also had a small balcony at the back which was a nice surprise. The bed was changed every day and the bathrooms cleaned every day too, often with new towels provided (which were super plush!). Also a jar of water was provided each day. The storage space was decent for a week, allowing us to unpack and properly settle in. A nice touch was that a bottle of wine is left out in the hallway for guests to enjoy a glass of wine before bed. Breakfasts were great and consisted of fruits, yoghurts, pastries, eggs, different breads as well as Paolo's delicious coffee. There was enough range for it not to become boring by the end of the week. We were really very happy and felt at home. Some people might feel a bit nervous about the fact that there isn't a 9-5 reception service but if you are confident enough not to rely on a hotel concierge for help booking tickets / taxis etc this is not an issue. Plus, Marco was always just a text away and responded very promptly on the one occasion we needed to ask him something. We personally preferred this non-intrusive style - sort of halfway between a bed and breakfast and staying in a self-catered place. Thank you so much Marco and Paolo for a lovely stay and perhaps in a few years we may return as there was still so much we didn't get chance to see in your beautiful city.

“Good location”

We liked the location, about 15-20 min walk from city centre, with the free parking nearby. The room was big, cozy and comfortable. Wifi was good. Especially we liked the lady, who let us in, she was very welcoming and called the owner. The breakfast was ok, with good coffee. We didn’t like, that they moved our things in the room while we were in the city.

Nice property, very clean, near to the train station (about 10 minutes walk) and not too far from the city centre (20 minutes). Need to bring your own shampoo, but apart from that this B&B is a great option.
