I secured our booking online, quick and simple (through Expedia) instant confirmation and contact details provided. Meeting point was arranged at the front of the theatre a quick phone call when we were there and someone was there within 10mins to show us to the apartment. A quick tour of the apartment and 2 sets of keys provided. The bedrooms were very spacious, bathroom was clean and hot water good. The location provided to be a real winner and we would certainly stay here again.

“Well appointed and located apartment for our family of 4”

We enjoyed four nights in Furio's apartment next to the Teatro Alla Fenice. We called when we arrived at the vaporetto station and someone was sent to meet us at the Theatre steps within minutes. We had a couple of minor issues, such as the hot water having been switched off prior to our arrival and a missing kettle, but both issues were dealt with as soon as we made Furio aware. The apartment is spacious, with lovely high ceilings and the dining room overlooks a canal, well travelled by gondoliers. The bedrooms overlook some lovely gardens. We realy enjoyed the area, there are many shops and restaurants in the vicinity, and it is close to St. Mark's Square without being in the crowds. We awoke to the sounds of birds chirping. This apartment was a real find and we will definitely look into booking again for any future trip to Venice.

“Superb staff, quaint atmosphere, good location, a little spartan”

Staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. Our room was substantially smaller and less ornate than those shown on the website. I would describe it as adequate. Although the web site says the hotel has air conditioning, our room did not and when we opened the windows we were infested with mosquitoes… more

Staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. Our room was substantially smaller and less ornate than those shown on the website. I would describe it as adequate. Although the web site says the hotel has air conditioning, our room did not and when we opened the windows we were infested with mosquitoes. The breakfast was self-serve and had reasonable variety all very tasty. The free in-room wifi was extremely slow. Double check on how much time is required for a taxi - we were told it would be five minutes, but it was actually more like 25. On arrival and departure you have to haul your own luggage to and from the pickup point about 100 yards away.

Finding this apartment was a bit of a challenge but once we found it, we were very pleased! Great location just off the Main square close to a couple of restaurants. We suggest you look up the opera house on google maps, go there first, then call the owners and they will meet you and guide you to the apartment. Take the smallest suitcase you have as the streets are very narrow and you will also be navigating a boat trip to arrive. Beds are great and it is well equiped for a family or a couple, many thanks for a great stay!
