“Rooms and staff lovely! Breakfasts?..not so much.”

The staff were only around in the morning for breakfast but they seemed very nice. The rooms were nice, bright, clean and fresh - sheets/towels were made/folded everyday, but not changed. The location was amazing. Only 7minutes to the Aurelia metro and train station. The metro was then only about 10minutes to central areas such as the Spanish steps. Metro passes are very cheap and include all modes of transport. For night time, the night bus dropped us right outside the b&b from the city. The breakfasts in the b&b need a lot of improvement and usually was something like a piece of dry swissrol. Alough we did get fresh pastries twice out of 14 mornings.

“Great location, but not so "&B" ”

Great little find, within easy walking distance from the Vatican. The room was big enough with aircon. A large window opening out to a balcony provided enough light too. The bathroom, a shower room, was small and the shower itself a foot off the ground, with access made easier with grey breeze bloc… more

Great little find, within easy walking distance from the Vatican. The room was big enough with aircon. A large window opening out to a balcony provided enough light too. The bathroom, a shower room, was small and the shower itself a foot off the ground, with access made easier with grey breeze blocks. Tea facilities were provided though albeit with plastic cups, no coffee or milk. As for the "&B", there simply was none, with the greeting host laughing to himself when asked. In all the room was basic, and it was at least just a place to rest you head after a long day.

We were a little disappointed as it was further away from the Vatican than expected, although the buses were every 15 minutes from outside the B & B. Although wouldnt fancy it at night...also there was a Metro within 20 minutes walk, The B & B was on the first floor, it didn't look a b it like the picture with a long corridor. Our room was pleasant, cleanish, the smallest bathroom ever, my partner is 6 ft 2". the bed was OK, there was a balcony which was out onto the main road. It wasn't expensive compared to a lot of other places we have stayed in. The noise was dreadful until about 3.00 in the morning, then the dustbin men came about 7.00 am. The breakfast was one coffee and an croissant. All in all it was OK. The people took 3/4 to let us in which after a long journey is a bit annoying. I agree with "decent quality for the money"

We are a young couple 24&28 years old. We stayed here for 5 nights and 4 days. First of all, we could not get inside the hostel for 1 hour, because it was closed and phone number of hostel's boss did not answer! He was late and very easily said "sorry, traffic". We were irrateted! The room was quite good, but fridge didnt work. Good location. Breakfast consist of crouassan and a small plastic cup of machine cappuchino. Cleaner through away my hair accesorie and papers that I left in a hurry on the table. Cleaner just fixing your bed linens and thriughibg everything away :D After 3 days of our stay the gloor was very dusty.. Boss and cleaner speak English. 15-20 minutes walk to Vatican. 5-7 minutes to metro station. Small private shop with food and tobacco in the corner. Shower cabin is too tight, but you have a fan in the bathroom. Big plasma on the wall, conditioner. No balcony. No smoking. Poor Wi-Fi. In overall the room looks nice, if you do not mind all that dmall minuses a listed. Good money value. We paid 204 euro for two people for 5 nights.
