“Not what expected”

I spent 4 nights at this place. First, I have to say it is not a hotel, there's no reception. It's an appartment with 4 rooms. It's on the second floor. The rooms have private bathrooms, which is a good point. The condition of the appartment in general is not very good. There are old furniture. Specially the wardrobes are a bit stinky. We got dissapointed at the breakfast. We found some bottles of juice, which were already open. We thought this is no appropiate for a place to stay. The location however is really good. You can reach Colisseo in 10 minutes on foot. There are some restaurants in this area. I strongly recommend the one called Forno Ciabattini. There is no room service, but the girl in charge cleaned our rooms once. Bedclothes were clean and beds, quite comfortable. It's a quiet zone at night. It is to remark that the quality of hotels and so many further aspects in Rome is not high, so this place isn't that bad in the end.

Mr Piece is nicely decorated, and is located at walking distance from the Colosseum (10-12 min aprox). Fabiana was very kind upon arrival, and always answered her phone when we called her. Our room was very big and had a clean private bathroom. The little place also has a shared kitchen and self-service breakfast composed of packaged croissants, toast with jam or Nutella, and tea/coffee. However, having said that, we stayed for 3 nights and our room was never made and our bathroom was never cleaned despite the fact that we hung the "please make the room" notice on the doorknob everyday (I thought it was due to the fact we stayed for Christmas, but I have read similar complaints now)... Aside from that, this hostel is a relatively cheap alternative in a good location in Rome.
