There appear to be two pages for this place so bith getbthis review. I booked this B&B on booking.com for my wife's birthday. I booked in January for september. It was the first time we'd used this site and the first time we'd travelled to Rome.... what could possibly go wrong... we got an early flight and caught the train into Rome. The B&B was a 2 min walk from the station...walking to where we staying my hopes started to fade.. the area was covered in graffiti and looked really busy . Everywhere we looked we were offered discount buses and tourist stuff... we were, after all, fresh off the boat so to speak... the B&B is a converted apartment in a block of flats, which were not much to look at from outside.. but the apartment itself was lovely!! It was clean and spacious, the ensuite bathroom had a sink toilet and shower and the room had air conditioning and window shutters to help with the heat. The manager who met us was most welcoming and knowledgeable.. she showed us to our room . asked us what time we'd like breakfast in the morning and then started giving us the best advice on where the sites were and the quickest and most interesting routes to get there. Breakfast was fresh loaded croissants from a local bakery with coffee and orange juice. The B&B is approximately 8 min walk from the colleseum, a quick metro ride or 35 min walk from the Vatican and.. if you like walking... all of the major sites are within walking distance.. there are loads of places to eat within a few mins walk and several minimarts and a coop too. If you're there to see the sites, get a Roma pass as it will save you money all over the place..... word of warning though... Rome is a noisy, vibrant city.. starting up at about 4am and going through till the early hours.. take earplugs😉 I would use this hotel again without hesitation. A real bargain in a great location.
