“Lovely!”

I stayed here with 4 girls late July/early august 2014. The villa we were allocated was very nice (three bedrooms, 3 toilets, 2 showers, kitchen, living area and it's own pool) was more than satisfactory for our needs. It was clean and good value for money! Quite steep incline to get to villa from the communal areas, but a little 'shuttle' was available (golf cart!) most of the time! The pool area was lovely, clean and good quantity if loungers and shaded areas/parasols. Slides were ok and operational most of the day. Bar service was ok however most of bar staff (male) were slightly more interested in asking girls to go to the beach after hours!! Good choice of drinks included in the 'all inclusive' package, however alcohol is to be paid for after 11pm! This caused a little trouble on a couple of occasions when we were refused alcohol just before the 11 pm deadline aggravated by the duty manager who started arguing with us about how many drinks we had which was only one per person!! English holidaymakers are rare in this resort, therefore the staff spoke very little English except for a couple of the animation team, one in particular was fluent and helped us out a lot, very friendly and not sleazy!! Evening entertainment was ok, karaoke, bingo, singers etc... Good selection wasn't great (chicken and rice always...) and nothing special for children. The private beach was small but nice. On the whole the resort was lovely although in the middle of nowhere! The place was clean and the villas excellent!

“If you like to have your EVERY MEAL with bees / wabs then chose this resort”

We stayed here for a week on " all inclusive package". The resort not have much green/ trees and look dull with grey surrounding. The beach is not private beach and so much stones so bear feet walking is a no no. Also the bed of the beach have so much seaweed so it's kind of slammy to swim in. The food in the restaurant is mostly same everyday. Only food from the action station in the restaurant is changed and taste better. During a week we stayed there only once we serve a decent seafood dish which was grilled whole fish otherwise food here mostly cater for Dutch people and it's so boring to eat same food everytime. But that not the main problem here. Every single meal we and everyone here had was a nightmare with bees/ wabs as they could not chase away and I could see so many people so upset and leave their food with out finish their meal because of this but staff not do anything about this or just ignored the bees/ wabs. Staff also not speak much English so communications could be problem for none Dutch person. No wifi in the room, the pool and reception area got the wifi but most of the time it's not accessible due to snail speed of Internet. The pool closed around 5pm so if you stay in the villa without private pool then no late swim. Also drink serve after 11pm is chargeable even if you are on inclusive package so as Fresh orange juice is chargeable for €2. Long walk to the beach and so to the local shop. The resort stay in the middle of nowhere so not much thing to see or go. The best way to town is a boat trip which cost €10. There are much better resorts in Bodrum and this resort definitely not 4 or 5 start at advertising. If you love eating with bees and get sting from wabs the this resort is recommended for you. If not, stay away.
