The service does sometimes seem a little slow but hey, I am on holiday so its not a problem! “Beautiful location”

Just a 15min car ride from lago di ledro at the end of a valley. Beautiful located hotel and restaurant. Friendly service and comfortable rooms. Small swimming pool plus sauna outside. Good food. Perfect location for hikers and people looking for some peace and quitness (no cell phone receipt possible / hotel has however good wifi). Improvements: no variety in meals for vegetarians (only a vegetable soup and a backed trout). When a thunderstorm hits the area also the landlines and wifi are disconnected for safety. Ergo, on a rainy day your are far away from anything and without any means of communication.

As the title says, this is a pretty isolated hotel. Very quiet, and no nightlife, but perfect to relax, read, hike in the woods, or take trips down to Lake Garda for the day. The rooms are pretty basic, with a bed (which anyone over 5'10" (180cm) will find a bit short, my head was up at the end grazing the head board, and my feet were hanging over the edge of the other end. I had no problems sleeping though. There is a flat screen TV with a couple of English programs ( BBC world, CNN). WiFi is free, but can be spotty (although on the last day we were there a new network was added which was much stronger so that may not be a problem anymore). Cellphone networks are not to be had ( which some may consider a feature, rather than a problem...) The Food was not too bad all in all. Breakfast is not generally something that the Italians do well, but there was a fair selection of cold cuts, cheese, and even scrambled and boiled eggs, along with all the sweet stuff that the Italians love. The apple strudel was fantastic. Coffee, tea, juices, mineral water were to be had at the buffet, and cappuccino upon request. The evening meal consisted of 3 courses, and there were alternatives available at no extra charge if the menu for that evening was not to your taste. I can recommend the veal or the goulash.

“Fantastic food, beautiful settings”

Loved this isolated area... And the food and service is nothing more than amazing:-) Put on your hikingshoes and explore the area. If you drive 20 minuts you will find several wonderful hikingspots, witch leads you to the top of the alps. Hope you enjoy your stay
