“Very good place to stay with family”
This a a cosy family owned small hotel. It is located at the entrance of the village, five minutes walk distance of the main harbour. Our 4 bed room was very confortable and clean. “What you see is what you get”
€205,- for 3 nights for 2 persons in high season is a very good deal. What made it better is the outstanding service and kindness of the family who runs the hotel. It’s nothing fancy, but when you just need a bed and fresh breakfast, this is the place to be in L’escala! AAA+

“Lovely 2 week stay”
We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks in L'Escala staying at the Hotel Can Catala. The room was comfortable and very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to the beach and a delightful walk by the dunes to the Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries and lots more lovely beaches.

“Overnight stay, perfectly adequate”
In the centre of old town, short walk to the small sandy beach, Somewhat dated hotel with main areas in need of updating.
