“Nice location, spectacular view”

Stayed here with my daughter. the hotel is in an amazing location just at the front of the each. T o make this even better the apartment comes with everything you need it also is a very reasonable price and the people who work here are exceptionally nice and helpful. Would defiantly come back !

“They added an elevator”

Have stayed here 3 times in the past and loved this simple hotel with views of the ocean. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator. “Lovely Hotel On The Beach”

This hotel was just what we were looking for. Its clean, simple, beautiful views to the sea. This hotel was just what we were looking for. Its clean, simple, beautiful views to the sea. Its also walkable to the town - about 20 minutes - and we felt safe to walk to the restaurants every evening for dinner along a board walk at the edge of the beach. The staff/owners are very helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely room on the 1st floor with an enclosed balcony which was lovely to sit in with our sundowner and just watch the waves. The weather was colder than expected when we were there mid September so no proper sunbathing but we did get the ferry from Cangas to Isles de Cies which were very beautiful islands and good that the ferry left from Cangas. There were a couple of places for breakfast around the corner from the hotel and an ice-cream parlour but we were happy with the hotels simple but adequate breakfast of bread/cakes fruit and coffee. Would we return - definitely! Really enjoyed our stay. And really great location as loads of places of interest within an hours drive, from the Albarino wine area - around Cambados in the Rias Baixas just north and west of here on the coast, to nice little towns and fishing villages locally eg Sanxenxo, to a nice shopping centre en route to Portugal near Tui.

We had booked one of theHotel Playa's self catering apartments for a week on our first Spanish holiday, mainly because my wife is very allergic to egg, and a great many eggs are eaten in Spain, so a few days self catering would enable us to relax, feed ourselves and enjoy the sun. Sadly, the last part of this didn't happen as most of Europe suffered bad weather that week, but we did enjoy the rest, and our own cooking of excellent Spanish ingredients. The apartment was originally for four people and was very well equipped with a beach view, private parking, TV, Free WiFi and comfortable seating. Some of the chairs and fittings were getting a little old but generally everything was nice and clean and serviced daily six days a week. The apartment was also excellent value so ideal for a cheap holiday in a quiet corner of northern Spain.
