This is a rare find these days,a traditional French hotel with a lovely atmosphere,and a joy to stay in.The restaurant is excellent and the wine not too expensive,my wife and I had a lovely nights stay,owners are charming and helpful.We will certain go back would make a good place to stay for the jazz festival at Marciac. We prefer old style hotels in France rather than the chains,but we are often dissapointed these days in the quality and cleanliness,this hotel did not disappoint whatsoever.

Also hotel and restaurant were good value.Mirande however is not worth a detour, but if your passing through this is the hotel to overnight at. Apoligies to the owners as we didnt make it clear we were not having breakfast and they had prepared the meal for us

“Comfortable, pleasant stopover”

Stopped off by chance here on the way from Toulouse to the Pyrenees on the first day of our holiday, and had such a pleasant evening that we made sure we stopped off on the way back on the last day of our holidays too. The family were extremely welcoming, the food was excellent (Mirande is a 'cittaslow' town so this was mostly locally sourced too) and the rooms - if showing their age a little - were large and comfortable. Recommended.

Logis hotels do it for me, a basic hotel with large rooms, great atmosphere and character looking untouched for several years. Logis hotels do it for me, a basic hotel with large rooms, great atmosphere and character looking untouched for several years. Yes some bits could do with a lick of paint, new curtains or a general tarting up but then you lose a lot more, but you know you are going to get a great meal. Twin room here was massive with 2 doubles, plenty of space but a 'compact' bathroom. Not an issue. Couple of beers in the town square and back for dinner, it did not disappoint with good choices, great meals and reasonable prices. Breakfast was a bit of a let down but typical French.
