“Lovely, stylish, homely retreat”

A really charming homely retreat in a relatively undiscovered part of Paris. None of the chaos of central and a far more authentic experience. The hotel itself is superb. Beautifully designed. Warm, genuine staff. A place we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended.

Hotel Henriette wasn't a random choice; we had to goggle a lot of hotels that would fit our budget in our preferred location. It had the most convincing reviews, so we went for it (crossing our fingers). Immediately after confirming our reservation, I received an email from Michael assuring us that while check-in time is 2pm, we can deposit our luggage for free should we arrive early. They even offered to book us transfer from the airport and sent a list of activities within the area. Madee greeted us warmly and and efficiently facilitated our check-in. We were given complimentary water in a nice Henriette bottle (re-fillable at a fountaintain at the bottom of an antique spiral staircase), and a cute Henriette tote bag. The spaces are admittedly small but everthing is so charming, tasteful and so put-together. And though the corridors were really, really narrow, they smell unbelievably good. Our room was small but very clean, comfortable and really quiet. Just a few steps away is Château de la Reine Blanche, former home of Queen Marguerite de Provence (the 13th century manor was also feautured in Audrey Hepburn's 1957 movie Funny Face). A wonderful park with remnants of the Bievre river is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The farthest we walked (25 mins) was to the Luxembourg gardens, passing thru Eglise Saint-Medard, Rue Mouffetard, Saint- Etienne-du-Mont, and the Pantheon. It is also just 15 minutes walk to the Grande Mosquee de Paris and Jardin des Plantes. The Les Goblins bus station for lines 27 and 47 is just 5mins away. Even our check-out was smooth and efficient, thanks to Jose. He followed up our airport transfer as endorsed by Michael. They even served complimentary warm croissants and tea while we were waiting for our service. If that wasn't nice, what is?

“Nothing but good!”

Small cosy hotel, super kind staff and normally sized hotel room with enough space. Only thing was that the bed was quite small. Also quite noisy inside the hotel. Good location, few minutes walk from the metro station.
