We stayed here unexpectedly as we had a car problem and considering the circumstances it could not have been more pleasant. I phoned up from the garage to try and get a room and the receptionist was so helpful and spoke good English and when I said we would be arriving in a taxi shortly she said she would look forward to welcoming us which was so nice and just epitomised our whole stay in Wangen where everyone could not have been more friendly, helpful and kind. We had a very nice room which was large, nicely appointed with a large sofa, coffee table etc and nice bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant in the evening was excellent and very busy, it had been at lunchtime too which is always a good sign. All the staff we encountered were lovely and this lovely old coaching inn seems to be the focal point of the town. Breakfast the following morning was excellent too. Wangen is a delightful town with some lovely little shops and well worth a visit. From a situation that was somewhat stressful when the weather was really bad with masses of snow our sojourn in Wangen turned out to be very pleasant in the circumstances and that was due in great parts to staying at this lovely hotel.

“Good mid-range hotel ”

A little slow check-in proces, as the reception is also the restaurant, but eventually got key to the room. Breakfast average. Room nice and clean and even facing the pefestrian street, fairly little nouse. Also had dinner at the restaurant, good service and goid schnitzel.

Hotel Mohren Post is located in the very center of a small and beautiful town Wangen therefore it is extremely difficult to get a parking place in a vicinity. Our hotel room was quite big with a comfortable double bed and a nice bathroom. The most spectacular was the breakfasts that simply brought us to our knees - no wonder that this offer attracted crowds of outside customers – be prepared to wait for a free table but it will be definitely worth of some minutes of delay.
