“Good hotel but close to a road that can be noisy”

We stayed here for a week begin July to make walks in the surrounding hills and in the town of Regensburg. The hotel room is very clean, with large beds and spacious bathroom with large shower, no bathtub. We booked a room with a small terrace which is splendid for sitting outside in the evening, there are 2 gardenchairs and a small round table on the terrace. The hotel is located near a little stream and it has a beer garden with affordable meals. The breakfast is good with enough choice. A golf course is located 1/2 km further. The hotel has enough parking space. If you like to bike near the Donau, bring your own bikes, space behind the hotel, or rent a bike in Regensburg. The main disadvantage is the road nearby that climbs into the hills, in the morning it is busy with work traffic, starting around 6:30, and during the day bikers and car enthousiasts try to go as fast as possible around corners. If you are a motorcyclist it is also a good location for trips.
