The hotel is a little shabby it has to be said BUT is really good value, has free parking, is right on the beach, is clean, has a pool and plenty of loungers AND the best feature by far is the very friendly and very helpful staff - best team we came across on our three weeks of travelling through France and Spain. Dog friendly... except for the beaches near the hotel. This issue became a recurring feature of our holiday in this part of France and means we will not return. But, that said, if you are travelling without your pet you will be happy enough here if you are not too demanding when it comes to the fabric of the building, room size or lack of view from rooms - you do get a balcony but it is fit for one person only and not sea facing. By the way, don't pay for breakfast here - poor selection and over priced.

The Hotel is old - not antique old but exhausted old. The common area carpets are dirty and smell. The rooms have been renewed and the bathroom was good. But no bar fridge, no bedside tables & very old curtain. The pool fence is rusted and loose. The WiFi was difficult to connect to. The staff were always friendly and cleaning but everything is old and in need of repair.

It has a clean, well looked-after swimming pool. The staff are great, really friendly and helpful, the room we had was fine. Overall it's best described as comfortable and practical. As long as you don't expect much more then you'll be fine. Yes, it's a bit dated. Yes, it's right to wonder where the bar and restaurant are (answer: the hotel has neither). But this is a two-star hotel right on the beach with stunning views over the Bassin d'Arcachon. They take dogs, which is a big plus for us. And you're a short walk away from all the bars and restaurants you could wish for. We enjoyed it. You will too, as long as you don't expect too much.

Typical chain hotel, similar to a Premier Inn or Travelodge in style. Rooms spacious with modern bathrooms and tea making facilities. Hotel has self catering rooms as well as the hotel type of room we booked. Heated pool in grounds and indoor public swimming next door. Hotel is on the sea front, but most rooms face inland and the car park. Restaurant for evening meal and breakfast is a franchise linked to the hotel - and not very good. So don't bother complaining to the hotel - they are not interested. Food is expensive in the evenings and very little choice. Most seating on a covered terrace which was too cool in the evening, but pleasant enough for breakfast. Breakfast is poor. Very few choices and had to ask for cutlery. Certainly not worth the €8.50 pp charge. Plenty of better places serving a coffee and a croissant ( which is about all you get at the hotel buffet) for a lot less. Long way from the main restaurants and shops. But ok for a stroll on the prom. Pleasant and convenient for one night but that's about it.
