“Booked through tourist agency”

Our 3-night stay was via a tourist agency, so the hotel wasn't our choice, but the whole group, experienced in staying at 3* Italian hotels, paid extra to get a 4-star hotel. This is what it says on the building itself - a hotel motel, so it is more of a 4* motel. The location is excellent if you are coming by car and don't mind driving to a decent restaurant, or want to be an up to an hour drive from Milan, nearby lakes, etc., with a place where you can get a shower and a decent sleep. If you are without a car and/ or want to have a nice dinner or drinks in the evening - stay away from here because the area around it is what we have called "a ghost neighborhood." The service is OK; I didn't have any terrific experiences, as stated on Booking.com. It gets a little bit noisy in the morning. The room is nice, clean, and well kept. The bed was relatively small for two but comfy. A/C was working excellently. You have a safe, a minibar, and several clothing hangers. The bathroom is spacious and spotless, but the shower is in line with the floor, so even though you pull the curtains, it still gets watery around. You get all toiletries and a hairdryer. I can't review the breakfast because the hotel said we, as a group, got an elementary breakfast due to their agreement with the agency. The hotel says that regular guests who pay (even) more get a more decadent breakfast, but we got a very poor one.

We had booked several rooms for a night while on a business trip to the area. We had booked the hotel rooms but upon arrival, were given what rooms they had left due to being full that evening. We had booked several rooms for a night while on a business trip to the area. We had booked the hotel rooms but upon arrival, were given what rooms they had left due to being full that evening. The rooms were of good size and had the emenities needed for an evening stay. Beds were ok but not real comfortable. Being on the lower floor was noisy as people were coming in at all times during the evening. Breakfast had a good selection but a smaller room. Became very crowded and some had to wait for a seat. Will consider staying again next time we are in the area but will try to arrive earlier for a different room and location
