“OK”

OK. We only stayed one night. Clean hotel. The only minor problem we had is that we waited 5-10 minutes for the clerk to show up to the front desk to check us in. Otherwise this was a good stay. There is a McDonald's and Burger King right across the street if you want to buy breakfast.

“Friendly Staff”

I checked in and found my room to be very large, Mini Kitchen with Microwave, sink, Hob etc. Plenty of room, The Housekeeping only visits once a week , so if you need fresh towels just pop to reception. Decent Pool and Gym, FREE Laundry room for self service

I stayed in a room with one queen bed for a long weekend at this property and liked the full size refrigerator w/freezer, stovetop, and microwave as well as the relative spaciousness of the room, comfortable bed, and mostly clean presentation (except for some of the dishes stored in the dishwasher). I was surprised that very few towels were placed in the room (maybe they've had problems w/theft??)but exchanges were possible at the Front Desk. The young adult female Front Desk staff person I encountered the most was almost entirely dour, short in her replies that bordered on rude, and not at all hospitable to me. A young man was a bit better yet not particularly friendly either. (Two other female Front Desk staff were friendlier and more hospitable in singular brief encounters). At the time of my visit, apparently no housekeepers were scheduled to work Saturdays or Sundays and therefore garbage in the Laundry Room and receptacles at the end of hallways was overflowing and unsightly. The outside of the property needed some attention due to cig. butts, various trash around the building and in the parking lot. On further visits to this town, I chose not to stay at this property as there are better and kinder options around.

I just wanted to get away for a moment. I drive to Monahans and stayed at this hotel. The front desk clerk was okay. The hotel is a few seconds off the interstate. It is near most of the eateries, also. The room is decent but I guess I expected a bit more. There was no iron although it was an ironing board. The floor could use a mop. But for all practical purposes, the stay was not a bad one.
