On one hand, I was very satisfied with the hotel, it was a quiet place with nice staff. The rooms were very clean. On one hand, I was very satisfied with the hotel, it was a quiet place with nice staff. The rooms were very clean. They have a private parking place, which is a big plus for a city without many parking spots. On the other hand, the towels could be better, because the quality wasn't the best. Also, it would've been nice to have breakfast included or at least be able to make coffee, they just had tea. Overall, the hotel is way better than the 2 stars I saw on booking.com.

Stayed here on a Monday night in November. I was greeted by 2 very friendly ladies at reception who showed me a map of the city and all the major attractions. Room was of a good standard and was certainly great value for the €55 I paid for it. There is no breakfast facility available, but I found plenty of options within walking distance. If you want convenience and value for money on a short stay, this is a great option.

The gentleman at the reception gave us a lot of recommendations for good restaurants and general sightseeing which we very much appreciated. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Seculo hotel.

I visited with a group of female friends all 50+, first time visiting Porto. We stayed in the Seculo soft which is part of the Seculo hotel but next door. From the minute we arrived the staff were extremely welcoming & helpful. The rooms were basic, but pristine and modern. It did feel cold initially but once we figured out the heating system we were fine. We had breakfast which again was basic but adequate, the bread rolls & cakes of which there were a great selection were all very fresh and tasty, there was a good selection of fresh juice and fresh fruit, and the usual continental meats & cheeses. The hot drinks are in large flasks, the hot water wasnt always hot but the staff addressed this when we complained, the coffee was excellent. For the price this hotel would be hard to beat, the only negative is that it's a bit off the beaten track and doesn't really have any bars close by.
