“Hidden gem, better service is not possible”
Have to sleep here often due to work. Always a pleasure, reception knows who you are, they make you feel welcome. The hotel is in an old building but up to date with all the modern standards without losing its own character. Very good breakfast.

“Fantastic Location, Spacious Rooms and Lovely Staff”
Lovely staff, spacious rooms and a FANTASTIC location! I was able to walk to food, bars and stores. I highly recommend Hotel Ansgar! This is a great hotel if you're visiting Esbjerg. And the Indian restaurant across the street is amazing.

“WOW”
Wasn’t expecting it to be small town friendly and atmosphere! The staff make this place. Clean, close to sites and train (up Americans not like our noisy trains they r electric no sound so you sleep at night WiFi Bicycle rental Great breakfast affordable Very very quiet place

“Retro scandinavian hotel”
Old school scandinavian hotel, position is great just few steps from town Square. Rooms are deacent size, clean and very quite. Interior is a bit older but it has charme. Ladies on reception are extremly friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is also good

“Ok, but a bit pricy”
Ansgar is an ok provinsieal hotel. Rooms are fine, but som might be a bit noisy because of the building site. It us nice that there us a selfservice bar in the evening. Breakfast is notering special. Service is very good. 1185 dkk fir a double room seems quite expensive.
