This is the second time we’ve visited. Our children are 7,10 and 13. We visited in the half term break. We’ve been here before in 2019 August but came this week because of the exceptional value - we were not disappointed. We had some money off the le shuttle using Tesco vouchers and had a six hour drive from Calais which was fine. The roads are very quiet, although clearly it’s a long journey. The campsite was probably at 50% capacity yet there was a wide range of activities to do and typically relaxed style. I think this site suits families with young children and also teenagers. You can see the full campsite itinerary on their website, but as an example we could do pony riding orienteering fishing as well as all other activities like bowls, table tennis trampolining, football, bouncy castle tennis, et cetera. There was see you there small scale entertainment in the evening, the magician was pretty interesting. The some activtiies are free some items and some chargeable. Site is 1 hour from the Puy du Foy ( their app is very good to schedule the day). About 30 minutes from towns and also from the various coastal towns / nice beaches. We didn’t expect the weather to be very warm, but it was warm enough for T-shirts and shorts and plenty of swimming, especially when the sun came through. The weather is very much based on luck. The one day it was a bit drizzly we played card and board games and relaxed just great. The other days were activities driven outside. All of the staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly. From the guy who made who looked after the bikes to the reception to the bar to the friendly euro camp staff. Special mention to the French bar lady, who was experienced, and made a brilliant French coffee :) We were lucky enough to stay in a new chalet so the facility was great. There are new accommodations also bringing up around the site and all the accommodation is great anyhow. I gave this five stars ( and I’d come back), however there’s always room for improvement :) Euro camp - forgot the welcome pack we had to ask at the next day. Not quite sure what the final day policy was so we cleaned up, put our key in the table and drove off. Wi-Fi - it is present in certain places only. 3G-5G was fine though when we needed it. Coffee - not great. Pool - could it be heated some more ?

“Wow!!!”

WOW!! What a campsite! We stayed for 3 weeks and not only have we booked the same 3 weeks for next year on the same pitch but we're taking parents and their caravan too! No point doing a long review as everything was fantatsice - simple!

Our third visit and I’ve no doubt we will be here again. It’s a special place in a beautiful setting with a laid back, happy vibe. Our third visit and I’ve no doubt we will be here again. It’s a special place in a beautiful setting with a laid back, happy vibe. It’s filled with lovely and very hard working staff who seem genuinely pleased to see you. There’s so much to do both on the site and in the local area. Our children (a tween and an 8 year old) adore it. There’s a reason why people come back here year after year. Some activities are at no extra cost (canoeing, pedalos on the beautiful lake etc) others carry a fee but it’s not extortionate at all (a tennis court for an hour is €6.50 - we’d pay twice that in the UK where we live). The shop is well stocked and handy for emergencies (and the amazing daily bread) but there is a massive Super U a short drive away for bigger shops. The takeaway food is excellent quality. It’s immaculately kept and very well run. The evening entertainment is low key but fun. The night pool disco was a big hit with young children, teens and adults alike. We stayed in a country lodge this year (one of the newer mobile homes) and it was very clean and comfortable. We might try one of the safari tents next year!
