“Great location”

Went for the Easter holidays as a family in a comfort room. We had an amazing week in Val thorens with great snow 😀. We were also lucky that our room over looked the slopes 😀. Our stay was pretty much in line with expectations formed from the reviews on here. We stayed on level -2 which is the side of the building where the boot room/slopes are so used the stairs mainly and if did need the lift it was only 1 so didn’t encounter any of the lift issues mentioned here. Upside: 1) location is amazing on the slopes (see pics from our room), can ski in/ski out from the boot room. But if you have kids in ski school , particularly higher stages I would book pro neige rather than esf as you have to walk up the slope to esf whereas pro neige meeting point is down! 2) close to shops, bakery, bars, restaurant, ski hire etc 3) mainly clean, not as bad as some reviews on here Downside: 1) comfort room is basic, as expected with 3 stars at this price in this location. 2) beds in the bedroom aren’t comfy, sofa beds seemed to be comfier 3) rooms are tiny (smaller then look in the pics). my daughter and I stayed in the bedroom, both size 8 so not big and barely any space to move between the beds. Crab style one at a time ! 4) minimal storage for 4 people - this was a challenge and the room was always a mess! 5) could do with some updating but didn’t mind that so much for the price we paid 6) no hair dryer !! 7) no chairs on the balcony , the view was beautiful overlooking the slopes/mountains. This was a shame ! 8) no space in lockers in boot room for 4 lots of boots and skis. Brought boots back to the room (which didn’t help space issues !) In conclusion , I would say you get what you pay for and, if you get a room on the slopes, probably a little bit more !

“Perfect stay in Val Thorens”

Direct access to slopes, really easy to ski in and out. In the building there is a ski rental so really easy that you have it al. In 1/2 min walk a nice bakery. Reception is really helpfull so definetly a good stay in Valtho

“Nice location”

The location is ideal for a group of persons and has all the facilities in the room. You can cook, have washing machine in the kitchen. From the location you go to the slopes on the skis and return in the same way.

Very Spartan, but cheap. It works but nothing beyond that. Room is very stuffy, Beds not too comfy, and very tight. Very Spartan, but cheap. It works but nothing beyond that. Room is very stuffy, Beds not too comfy, and very tight. The Shower was not able to maintain a constant temperature, The room also lacks any kind of solution to dry your ski boots. The toilet had an inactive or weak venta. There is always a traffic jam at the elevators in the morning. If you are on a budget, it can work.
