“Good value, great breakfasts, icy cool aircon! Perfect!”

We booked our accommodation on Fernando de Noronha quite late and so we thought we were going to be in for a shocker. However, what we did find was a gem. The owner had a issue with our booking as we booked with Amex and it bounced back but we didn't know this. I think this was booking.com's fault more than his. He ended up shoving out a friend who was staying and we got their room instead! The room was clean, had a mini fridge and ICY COOL aircon with a new flat screen TV. PERFECT! The bathroom had hot water and was perfectly adequate for Fernando standards. The best thing about this place was the breakfast!!!!! The cook was so lovely. She was friendly and we adored her lovely nature. She cooked up the best breakfast we had throughout our whole trip. She did all sorts of cakes, all sorts of meats and cheeses, fresh juices, everything you could ask for. Loved the sausages and fried haloumi. Yum! Negatives are that you have to walk up a hill to get back to it as the town centre goes down a slope. Also would be nice if they had a pool. And would be nice if they had room service at any time not planned meals when they do them. Overall, made the ripoff prices on the rest of the island manageable because we saved on our accom. You dont need fancy, you need Tio Joao!

I stayed here in January 2016. I had trouble looking for an available Pousada at New Year very much. I sent e-mails to about 40 to Pousadas. Here was found finally. There was little information I get about the island in Japan, also I can't speak Portuguese at all, but Mr. John, owner of the Pousada, translated into English using a PC, and all stuff were very kind. I enjoyed a stay at an island very much. A bug is entering a room from a gap, but when filling a gap of a window and a door with a tissue, it's no problem. There was time when hot water from the shower is lukewarm, but it was no problem. The air conditioner was also effective and comfortable.There was Mini bar. Many fruits were served to breakfast, and the tapioca crepe was also very good.Lunch of the fish dish and Feijoada were also very good. You can also go to DOS REMEDIOS, PARAIA DO CACHORRO, PARAIA DO MEIO and PARAIA DA CONCEICA on foot. There was also a mini supermarket in the neighborhood, and it was convenient. 私は2016年1月に宿泊しましたが、年末年始に宿を探すのにとても苦労しました。合計40件くらいの宿に電子メールを送信して、やっとここを見つけました。 日本では手に入る情報が少なく、また、私はポルトガル語が全く話せませんが、宿のオーナーのジョンさんがパソコンを使って英訳してくれたり、とても親切でした。 私は、島での滞在をとても楽しみました。 部屋に虫が入ってきますが、窓とドアの隙間をティッシュペーパーなどで埋めれば問題ありません。 シャワーのお湯がぬるいときがありますが、問題ありませんでした。 クーラーも効いていて快適でした。ミニバーもありました。 朝食では、果物がたくさん出ました。タピオカのクレープもとてもおいしかったです。昼食に作っていただいた魚料理やfeijoadaもとてもおいしかったです。 DOS REMEDIOSや、PARAIA DO CACHORRO、PARAIA DO MEIO、PARAIA DA CONCEICAへも徒歩で行けます。 近くにミニスーパーもあり便利でした。

We had a bad first impression because we were received with some antipathy as the employer understood that we were not a couple, but two friends, and therefore needed two separate beds. We had to wait about 20 min for them to arrange a new room. Apart from that, they were always very nice, specially Tio João, the owner, and the girl that prepares the breakfast, which is perfect. The breakfast had tropical fruits, juice, coffee, cake, cheese and ham. And best of all, you could ask for the girl to prepare tapioca. The place is also a restaurant, so you can have lunch and dinner for only 30 reais, which strangely is very cheap in the island. The room was very simple, but had a fridge and AC, and personal bathroom.
