This hotel's location is perfect if you want to be close to the port, which is just a short walk away. Very friendly hosts. Beautiful gardens full of limes, pomogranates, vines, oranges etc.... My ensuite room overlooking the pool was spotless and was cleaned every day. All communal areas also very clean. Good to have a fridge in the room to store cold drinks. Food was nice, as expected for the price - limited choice each evening, which you have to order in the morning at breakfast. Breakfast was a buffet with choice of cereals and breads, jams etc. Each guest gets a plate with cheese and sliced meat also. The thermal pool was a new and enjoyable experience for me. I was worried initially about the colour of the water, but it's supposed to be like that, its hot, and from the volcanic ground. I felt good after swimming in it! The beach is about 15 minutes walk away, via all the shops and cafes, so quite nice. Plenty of boat trips leaving the nearby port every day. There's also a supermarket a few metres away from the hotel. Wifi in the lobby only. Don't expect a posh hotel, it's clean and a good value for money place to stay.

I had originally booked The Hotel Dom Pedro. However; when I landed I received a text message to say that they had overbooked and had transferred my booking to The Hotel Villa Ciccio. My original booking was all done via Expedia, so I was surprised that I could find myself in this position. However; with the help of a local company (Ischia Review) my transfer pick ups were amended and I arrived at Villa Ciccio. Hotel Villa Ciccio is a really super friendly hotel with staff that helped me in every way to have the most enjoyable stay for 8 days in Ischia. I would have no qualms in recommending this Hotel. It is perfectly located, extremely helpful staff with a great attitude to their guests. I look forward to returning on another trip to the Island. I would equally recommend that you look up Ischia review for your transfers and great information about your up and coming trip

“Good hotel, good location, great base for exploring Ischia”

A good room, quiet and clean, friendly staff. The location is great, I had been worried about noise from the port area but we weren't disturbed at all. Breakfast wasn't great, just pastries, bread and one portion of salami/cheese - some fresh fruit needed! But there was a little fridge in the room … more

A good room, quiet and clean, friendly staff. The location is great, I had been worried about noise from the port area but we weren't disturbed at all. Breakfast wasn't great, just pastries, bread and one portion of salami/cheese - some fresh fruit needed! But there was a little fridge in the room so we could keep some fruit from the grocer there. It was very hot and the air conditioning didn't seem to stay on at night so we opened the windows and got bitten by mosquitoes - would be great if they provided the plug with tabs for the whole stay.
