Siguenza ia a lovely town, and the Posta Real, tucked away in the winding streets of the mediaeval centre, with comfortable rooms, very quiet at night, within only a few minutes' walk of the Cathedral, the castle and several good restaurants, owned and run by an exceptionally kindly, welcoming family (their daughter speaks excellent English), was everything I'd hoped for. I'd like to go back to Siguenza again next year, and if I do I'll stay at the Posta Real again. P.S. Breakfast was brilliant, specially the tomato marmalade!

“Nice, quiet & central hotel”

We've booked a room for 2 in this hotel in July, when the medieval festival was taking place. It was quiet, very clean and well located (close to the castle, in the lanes. We've booked a room for 2 in this hotel in July, when the medieval festival was taking place. It was quiet, very clean and well located (close to the castle, in the lanes. It is not accessible by car but the car can be parked not too far by the castle). It is a family run hotel. The people are very firendly even if they don't speak English nor french very well (and we don't speak spanish) they were very nice to us and readdy to help us. Breakfast was excellent and cheap (home made jam or traditional breakfast with olive oil and tomato purée, nice coffee as well). There was no air con but the windows can be kept open and the breeze was there to cool us down.

“A central location”

Although central to the interesting town of Siguenza, the hotel is quiet and easily accessible, though parking in the plaza del castillo necessitates a walk downhill. The reception is friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable and of a good size, accessible by lift.

We were here for just the one night, while in transit. It was a little difficult to find as the narrow streets are a little 'off-putting'. The Posta Real is a fairly basic, family run hotel. We were here for just the one night, while in transit. It was a little difficult to find as the narrow streets are a little 'off-putting'. The Posta Real is a fairly basic, family run hotel. Friendly welcome from the daughter (spoke some English). Fine for our one-nighter, but we wouldn't want to spend a week here. Siguenza itself was a pleasant surprise, being quite 'Spanish' and not too touristy. We had a walk around the town in the evening and on the following morning and guess we'd seen most of the attractions.
