“Great hotel”

Large clean rooms, best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had , fun pool for the kids, affordable. This place was great. About 15 mins away from Erie but worth it. We also went to Presque isle state park to lay on the beach and walk the beach and that is about 27 mins from here. There is one family restaurant next to this hotel but otherwise you have to go about 20 mins into Erie. Still worth staying here. If your kids can sit up while going down the slide have them do that the first time down and also put their hands on the sides to slow themselves down. A lot of smaller kids including my 7 year old (who normally likes slides) were getting really scared and not going again because it’s really fast if you lay down but slow if they are short enough to sit up. Most kids 9 and younger can probably sit up. Adults didn’t know what they were getting themselves into on the fast slide either 😂 I saw a lot of adults only go 1 time. Has a sauna in with the second pool.

“An oasis for the whole family”

My grandson requested that I write this review because he is too you to have his own account. We stayed here one night. I quote “ the pool is amazing, the room was very big, and the breakfast was really good, it was very clean no mess of nothing! And the staff is very nice”

“Basically a nice Holiday Inn”

I stayed here while on a motorcycle trip. The hotel is mainly designed as a Childers play area. The indoor water park is stuff of kids dreams. It would have been 5 stars except being awoken several times by children in next room. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was basic, but plentiful.

“Adult Stay Without Children”

A previous reviewer wrote that the pool water was cold. Not so! It was very warm, at least in the lap pool. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that there is a second pool away from the children play area. We had it to ourselves for 30 minutes. Our room and washroom were clean though the tile floo… more

A previous reviewer wrote that the pool water was cold. Not so! It was very warm, at least in the lap pool. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that there is a second pool away from the children play area. We had it to ourselves for 30 minutes. Our room and washroom were clean though the tile floor cracked and wallpaper was peeling in one spot. We were woken very early by the continuous slamming of a room door as the family did not teach the children to close the door gently. A posted sign on being aware of others may help. For safety it closes hard to ensure it locks. Some room renovation is needed but overall our stay was ok. The restaurant across the parking lot was convenient and the food good.
