I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service from the management and front desk. We had booked through our credit card company- (for the points ) and made a reservation for another hotel and upon arrival, there was no reservation. Plus, no room for us, as they were booked. We had stayed at Holiday Inn Express before, so we called and they got us in. Just don’t hesitate to book here. You will never be disappointed, the breakfast is always excellent, bonus is, the renovation is done and it looks amazing. The hot tub and pool area are very clean and the outside sitting area with a fire pit is a great way to unwind. You are close to Dillsboro, with breweries, shops, restaurants and downtown Sylva is also. And how can you not mention being in the middle of the Smokey Mountains? The view and the drive is incredible!

“Nice but Noisy”

The location is good and staff were quite friendly. The room was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The location is good and staff were quite friendly. The room was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was pretty good, with a nice variety of hot and cold and even a pancake machine, but tended to run out of items as the room was understaffed. The big thing to know is that if your room is on the back side of the hotel, it will be LOUD. We could hear every car and truck, and as the highway is on a hill they are working hard. The room seems to have very little sound insulation. A room on the front side will probably be Ok.

“Good Overnight Stay”

Our stay at this hotel was actually very nice. The hotel and room itself were clean, we had everything we needed. The pool area is clean and well lit and a great place to let the kids get energy out at the end of the day. There's a lovely fire pit area outside with Adirondack chairs which was actually very quiet and peaceful despite being rather close to the highway. The breakfast area was clean and inviting and there's coffee available all day as well as hot water for tea and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a nice treat for our kids after a dip in the pool. Be advised that there is a policy in place to not clean up spills in your room with your room towels. You'll have to call the front desk to get something to clean up with. We did have a misunderstanding on that front but it was eventually dealt with by the General Manager, Brandy Johnson. It took some time but we were able to come to a positive resolution working with Brandy.
