I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Premier Inn T5, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that set the tone for my entire visit. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The staff was welcoming and made me feel right at home. I appreciated the complimentary welcome drink, which was a lovely touch after a long journey.

Due to a flight cancellation from BA we had to switch our booking from PI Gatwick North ( where we have stayed several times previously) to this hotel. We were quite apprehensive as its not in walking distance to the Terminal, like PI Gatwick North, but we were pleasantly surprised. After a bit of research I found out about the local bus 423 to/from T5 that stops literally outside the hotel, it was very reasonable at £1.75 each way and ran every 20 /30minutes taking about 10 mins. Reception on arrival was very friendly and helpful, the Premier Plus room was clean, quiet and comfortable and we had a restful sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, the fish and chips were hot and fresh, the prices are very reasonable and the staff were some of the friendliest we have experienced in a hotel for a while. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return if we have another early departure from T 5. Keep up the great service, its much appreciated.

“Great bad, wonderfully soundproof rooms, but when are you going to provide decent decaf coffee and gluten-free sausages?”

The bed was very comfortable and the room was extraordinarily well soundproofed especially from the corridor and surrounding rooms which I often find disturbing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extraordinarily well soundproofed especially from the corridor and surrounding rooms which I often find disturbing. It’s great that the room had a coffee making machine but utterly disappointing there is no decaffeinated coffee for the machine. They only offer Nescafe sachets which are really just not coffee. Unfortunately, this is also the same when you go down for breakfast. When are they going to change this? I love having body shampoo available in a dispenser rather than small individual plastic containers. But I wish that they would provide hair conditioner would save a lot of hassle for packing for me. I need gluten-free food and it was excellent that they were will willing to cook my whole breakfast separately. But when are you going to provide gluten-free sausages as standard? I try to follow a high protein diet and I was limited to bacon and eggs which seems such a shame when there are sausages and black pudding on the menu. Most supermarkets now all their own brand sausages are gluten-free why cannot this be the case with Premier Inn?

Stayed at the Heathrow T5 Premier Inn last night. I was impressed. Lovely service from all of the staff I met. The room was great - I had a Premier Inn Plus room (or some similar label) - not sure if it was an upgrade but it was spacious and much smarter than I had expected. Supper and breakfast were very tasty. Supper: thai green curry with grilled chicken followed by banoffee cheesecake. Breakfast:porridge with (added from self service counter) mixed berries and honey. Initially I had been irritated as I had thought the hotel was within walking distance of the airport but it was only a 5 min bus ride away and the buses (423) are v regular, with hotel staff kindly giving me a printed bus timetable for my return. Would stay here again.
