“Great family weekend ”
We stayed in Convento da Provença for a weekend. We were a group of 6 adults and 8 children. The hotel is very nice, with a lot of history and cachet. “Nice rustic hotel in peaceful surroundings”
We enjoyed our one night stay at Convento da Provenca after visiting nearby Marvão during the day. “Amazing location with a room almost in the old church”
After a short tour of the property, and very old building adjacent to a medieval site, we were offered a room overlooking the ancient church's altar. “Cozy”
Very nice and tranquil location, a special atmosphere to feel comfortable. Super friendly staff - top service. “Interesting possada”
We stayed one night in late Feb. We were the only guests and the staff person treated us well. As an old building it is interesting to stay there. It was cold and damp during our stay. While the guest room was warm with the heater the common rooms were cold even with a fire.
