“Amazing view/comfy beds/nice breakfast ”

A really adorable pousada with one of the best views in Buzios. Bed very comfortable. Balcony with Hammock. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Just missing shampoo. A very simple fix from the owners, add some small hotel type shampoo, conditioner, body cream & 2 small soaps et voila 5 stars!

A spotlessy clean pousada with a great view from the pool terrace and balcony (we stayed in a room on the top floor so would recommend doing the same if possible). The air con worked a treat and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was awesome with a great selection. It was only 5 mins walk to the beach where there was a good selection for food and great people watching. The walk into town was 15 mins and the perfect way to walk off your dinner. It is steep so the arthritc may wish to stay elsewhere. Our only comment would be the staff could have been more helpful with suggestions, but admittedly there was a language barrier (but their english was better than our Portuguese!) Also even though they advertise a lunch menu, we felt that we were an inconvenience to them when ordering food. Overall we would definitely return as the room and pool and view and proximity to the beach were excellent.

A small, welcoming and well appointed pousada nestled on one of the hillsides in Buzios. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Rooms are a good size, light and airy with effective air-conditioning. The pousada is kept spotlessly clean and an ample breakfast of fresh fruit, breads (and eggs if you ask forthem) sets you up for the day. On a hillside it takes about 10 minutes dhownhill to get to the nearest beach..but remember that its a hike up the hills when you return.

I'm not impressed. Far from! The hotel is overpriced, and really just average overall. In tourist traps like Buzios, hoteliers rarely worry about providing service and go the extra step for guests which could justify a high(er) price. For the discerning European traveler, who is expecting price and quality that are interconnected, this is truly another disappointment. This hotel with breakfast included, delivers everything at the same time at the (small) table, - no buffet! It is not okay. One piece of soap - no other amenities! Careless imported labourforce who don't pay attention. When you arrive you are told about limited opening hours at the pool 11-20, and you are asked to reduce your water consumption. It´s generally a good idea to preserve and reduce consumptions of natural ressources, but when I need a shower, and that I do several times a day in this climate, I don´t want restrictions imposed on me. Especially not considering the price I pay for my stay! The only above average impression is the fantastic view from the terrace.
