I was booked here for a business trip, and found the staff were friendly and efficient. My guestroom was clean and spacious. The bedroom was dark in the evenings, there were only three small lamps. The table sat four, and made for a nice workspace. The room offered a Roku TV, which was familiar to me as it is what I have at home, so easy to watch the Roku channels or log into your own account to see your favorites. The food in the restaurant and the coffee shop was good, and reasonably priced, especially for Scottsdale. Very walkable to the nearby shops and restaurants in the area. I did not use the pool, or spa as it was quite cold during my stay. The fitness center looked nicely appointed.

“Best Bartender”

The hotel is super outdated but I know they have plans to remodel. The location is to die for! And Jordan in the bar treated the guest I was with and myself like we owned the place. He was real and accommodating to any drink or food we wanted. PS order the hot chicken sandwhich!

I have stayed at the hotel during the same week in January during the past four years. This is the first time neither of the two swimming pools was heated. In the past, the larger, rectangualr pool, formerly called the Picante, was heated to 80F. This time, not heated at all. When the air temperature during the day would register a high of 60F, that makes for a chilly swim! One of the reasons I always stayed at the hotel was the ability to swim laps at least once per day. This was quite a disappointment to have to forgo that. No response from the management when I called to find out about why it was no longer heated.
