The service in the hotel was excellent and the rooms were attractive and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful and big with separate shower and tub area and light up makeup mirror, etc. Bed was very comfortable.Enjoyed eating in the restaurant and having drinks at two of the bars as well. Only a very short walk to Parliament Square, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay. We had a minor room issue at check in, but the staff did a wonderful job in making our stay enjoyable. I want to specifically mention Kate who went above and beyond to make sure our issue was addressed and to make our time there an unforgettable experience. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was amazing. The hotel is in a great location close to Westminster Abbey, the Churchhill war rooms, Elizabeth tower and many other attractions. I would definitely stay here again for the service alone.

The Conrad is a luxurious hotel woth large rooms and great choice for sightseeing as it is a pretty 5 min walk through Green park to Buckingham Palace. Take an apple and you can feed the squirrels in the park. St James park tube station is across the street so direct access to the tower of London. … more

The Conrad is a luxurious hotel woth large rooms and great choice for sightseeing as it is a pretty 5 min walk through Green park to Buckingham Palace. Take an apple and you can feed the squirrels in the park. St James park tube station is across the street so direct access to the tower of London. The breakfast is amazing- full English with pancakes and eggs to order. I took away a star for the inner courtyard rooms that have no view at all and are dark- that is the layout of this hotel. The lounge fare is mediocre at best- so I wouldn't spend on an executive room but recommend getting room with breakfast.

Having stayed at Hilton’s at Bankside and Tower Bridge, which were both faultless stays, we decided to give the Conrad a visit on this visit to the Capital. Location is ideal and handily accessible by the tube station directly opposite the property. As we arrived on an early flight, I expected the room not to be ready, which it wasn’t, and we completed the check-in formalities before dropping off luggage and wandered off into the city. As other reviewers have posted, Westminster Abbey and the Parliament buildings are a few minutes walk away while Buckingham Palace is accessible by a pleasant walk through St. James’s Park which is located behind the Tube station opposite the hotel. We booked a King Executive room with lounge access and I had no issues with the room at all. The bathroom was large with a tub and walk in shower and the bed was very comfortable. There was no view to speak of, however due to the location, I suspect surrounding buildings will restrict views from most of the rooms. We were provided with water and a tin of Lauden chocolates which was appreciated and I have to say, as a chocolate lover, these were very good. There was a small variety of sandwiches and cakes available in the lounge in the afternoon with canapés and drinks for eligible guests from 5-7 pm. I felt the lounge offerings were not on a par with Hilton Bankside in particular - we both felt the food was a little underwhelming for a Conrad. Maybe our expectations were set too high after experiencing their Bangkok and Singapore properties, but it was just about OK. We were booked on a room only basis so only had access to breakfast in the lounge as I had lost Honors status and did not have access to the main restaurant. The lounge breakfast was limited, but It was fine and we didn’t leave hungry. For location, The Conrad is hard to beat for those wanting easy access to the major sites of London and despite the disappointing lounge offerings, this was still a very good short stay.
