“Did NOT disappoint”

We travelled with Tui for 4 nights in December and stayed in a bungalow over the road from the hotel. The bungalow was very warm and clean and adequate as you do not spend very long in them. The only problem was the TV if you want to relax in your own space after an hectic day there are no English channels and only 5 local ones. The WiFi did not work in the bungalows which our grandchildren were upset about, they soon got used to the idea 😀 there was good access in the main building. The meals at the hotel were very good we were half board and could not fault them at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Tui reps were amazing. We would definitely return to Hetta.

If you're thinking of doing a Lapland adventure then look no further than Hotels Hatta with Tui. Hotels Hetta, what a special place to go for a Lapland experience. Booked through Tui on a 5 day Santa experience and it surpassed every expectation. From the staff at the airport to the team in the hotel. I chose this destination because I didn't want an over commercial trip and this was the experience I'd hoped for when booking it. The staff in the hotel were so accommodating as my mum has an allergy and they brought her a dessert that didn't contain nuts or Pineapple. And each meal time they said what she could and couldn't have that meal. This attention to detail was really appreciated. The snow club was great with Gina, Katie and Dan made the kids really engage in the experience. Berry, Sparkles, Cookie and Ollie were brilliant on the arrival where to go and getting people informed on what was going on. Also, Bob was great for being in the hotel for any questions you had. Not forgetting the staff in the hotel, that engaged with us and was friendly all the time. The Christmas finale. Well what can I say, it was so magical from the lovely dinner and then meeting Santa. My son was speechless and was so excited. Then the fireworks at the end was awesome. The entertainment throughout was great both during the day and at night. I really don't have one complaint about the whole trip and the bonus was that if the Northern Lights were out you could write your room number on a board and they'd come and give a knock. Because of this we got to see them that was the icing, cherry and sprinkles on the cake. Thank you all..!!

I visited this hotel with my 8 year old daughter as part of a TUI Lapland experience. This review focuses just on the hotel, although the overall Tui experience was excellent. The half board food was good. Nice food, good quality and variety. The bar drinks were quite expensive (£8 for a 500ml beer), but that is generally the case in Finland. The hotel was always warm and clean. There's a pool table, sauna and swimming pool. The pool is a cold pool. Freezing in fact, so not suitable for young kids. About 10 minutes walk from the hotel is a supermarket. In a similar distance in the other direction is a ski slope, which was unused at the time I visited, meaning it could be used for sledging. Outside the back of the hotel is a lake, which was frozen over and could be walked on. The room was basic but clean and pleasant. TV, fridge and lots of storage space. WiFi throughout the hotel. Some rooms had saunas in. Getting an apartment with a mini kitchen was also an option. These were over the road from the hotel. Hetta is a small and remote village. It made for a relaxing yet fun Lapland experience. There were only around 35 guests in total for the TUI package, which meant a small and friendly group whose kids played with each other and made friends. It was very fun and the bus took us to all the things we wanted to see, the pool was cold tho. But that did not matter because the sauna was great. We went to see a lot of things and there is here a skiing place close to the hotel. You can also go shop for groceries but it does take half an hour to get there but the walking is not bad because the nature is beautiful.
