Lovely plantings in gardens, great food, warm and caring owners and staff, clean cabin with lovely verandah. Although close to the center of Dangriga it is secluded and quiet. We especially enjoyed our time in Dangriga itself - a great place to get a feeling for the culture of Belize. We also took a trip to Barquadier Falls in the jungle with Mr. Peter White and swam in a magnificent pool under a fantastic waterfall.

“Owners and Staff Who Deeply Care For Guests”

My wife and I stayed at Jungle Huts for a week while serving on a mission trip. Overall, I would recommend staying there because of the service and wonderful food. Nessie (the chef) is absolutely amazing. I had no expectations as far as accommodations go, because I was traveling on a mission trip. If you are expecting an all-inclusive resort similar to something like Sandals in Jamaica, then do not stay here. If you are expecting a room with basic necessities, delicious local food, and an amazing owner and staff who will bend over backwards to please guests, then this place is for you. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, because the first room we were given had a ceiling and AC leak. Philip (owner) and Kingsley (Manager) promptly moved us to a new room. That same morning, I got sick from a flu virus. Kingsley, Philip, and his family helped take care of me for 3 days while everyone else from our group was working. They brought me chicken soup, fresh beet and carrot juice, and hot tea made from "the bush." They checked on me during the day, and offered to take me to the doctor if necessary. I don't think it's possible for a hotel staff to care for guests any more than they did for me. I have read some of the negative reviews. I did have to become accustomed to occasional bugs in the room, but, again, I didn't expect the rooms to be perfect. They actually FAR exceeded my expectations while serving on a mission trip. Another member of our group who had already done 15 mission trips commented that it was the nicest place she had stayed during a mission trip. From my experience, any problems that may arise with your room will be taken care of in the best way possible. Thank you Philip, Kingsley, Rebecca, Nessie, German, and the rest of your staff for caring so much about us!

The food was delicious! We ate at the resort for breakfast and dinner. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling and AC, but we were moved to another room which was nice.
