“I would go back to this hotel again.”
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in terms of location, hospitality, food, facilities and cleanliness. If I have a chance to go back to Shimoda again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. “Simply beautiful”
Its beautifully located giving a real Japanese experience with futons on tatami mats, low dining table and conveniently arranged room facilities which has the magnificent view of the Shirahama beach from where we spent time watching the beautiful sunrise and life slowly unfolding on the beach..

“Wished we stayed longer! ”

“Remote location”
Too far. Better stay in Hakone or Atami . Some staffs are chinese . When late check out , they charged you. Not sure if they practice same procedure with Japanese. Location is far and hotel is run down. If you are only in that area , maybe can try. Online pics are captivating so don’t be fooled. … more
