“Great hotel accommodation but chilly in the evening.”

The hotel is in the mountains and is not as hot as by the coast. We struggled during the day with the cold breeze but during the evening it was especially cold. We were there in early June. Again due to location weather can be a little less predictable and it rained on several occasions meaning entertainment was a bus ride away in the gold clubhouse. The waterpark was OK..did the job for the kids but it was hard to get a sunbed because there were just not enough. Food was OK, what I liked was the variety and lots of vegetarian options for a change. Lots of different pools to choose from and we flaoted between the pool where the slides were and the pool closest our apartment. The apartment was the best thing about the holiday and by far the best I've stayed in. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a proper lounge/dining room a kitchen...with washing machine!...and a HUGE balcony. Great accommodation, very clean, very tidy. Entertainment was good, the usual dancers etc. All in, not too bad. Would I go back....hmmm. Loved the apartment but didn't like the hotel location. If I went back it would need to be later in the season when it was warmer and I didn't need a hoodie! But yes I'd go back if I could have the same room as before! 😄

A nice family holiday but definitely not a 4 star hotel. We where upgraded to a pent house apartment on arrival which was lovely but unfortunately as soon as we stepped in there was a fowl drain smell that radiated throughout. We complained the next day and it did smell a little more pleasant but still there. For us the food was not enjoyable especially breakfast selection. We are a fry up kind of family on our holidays rather than fruit, yogurt, grilled veggies and hot dog sausages in BBQ sauce though. Most of the cooked food was stale/premade especially the pancakes and French toast. The freshly made omelettes where nice...we lived on these. We spent our lunchtimes at the pool bar, the food there was nice and more up our street. The pizza was so nice! The main food area at dinnertime wasn't worth going to, alot of their cooked food was cold and their kids food area was terrible. Plain pasta with no sauce, chicken nuggets and Turkish sausage was served every night. We spent most of our dinner times at the outside cooking area where they made freshly made foods i.e chicken, kebab, noodles etc. The fruit juices are watered down from the machine but they did serve fizzy juices from the bar in the restaurant. The staff where not what we expected, from the reviews everyone talked about how the entertainment staff made their holiday, but this was not our experience. We found them unapproachable yet they did spend a lot of their time around the same type of guests that sat around the main pool and played the pool activities. The staff at the inside bar where nice, they always had a smile and would serve us at the table. On the day it was colder they put some food on at the bar which was a nice touch. My little boy is 7 and went to the kids club for an hour two of the days. They didn't have any activities organised just colouring/painting or a tiny little ball pit. The girls where nice enough but getting any conversation with them was hard work, again they seemed disinterested. The sun beds, the water slides and the general pool areas where good, however the pools are very cold! The cocktails where lovely and all freshly made, pino coladas where my fave! The kids loves the ice-creams. The kids mocktails we're good, my little boy loved "Tom and Jerry's". We loved our visit to the beach but this is not what the picture shows you on the website. It is a gated sun bed area that sits just off the beach. It was still enjoyable and my kids loved being in the sea which was relatively warm. The bus only takes about 20 minutes from the hotel, definitely recommend doing this. The nighttime entertainment was ok, we saw a magician, a acrobatic show and a Turkish dance group. It's all outside so when it was a bit chillier we struggled to enjoy ourselves even with warmer clothes. The seating was uncomfortable as we had to sit on concrete steps with a thin cushion that somehow left out bums wet. The kids dance party doesn't start till 2045 which we felt was quite late, especially when the entertainment then follows it. We stayed out quite late one of the nights to play bingo this was fun but it started after 10pm. Our little boy got to go up on the stage and collect the t-shirt he painted at kids club (cost extra £15). We thought this would be a nice experience for him as we saw kids previously being made a big deal of when they got presented with it. But instead this was a huge let down. It was a bit of a shambles and very rushed, they didn't give him anytime to get up on stage and didn't even say well done. As soon as he was given the t-shirt he was asked to leave the stage. The park is ok but small and the mini golf was run down and I would say it needs a good revamp. The rooms where very clean and spacious, the option of a washing machine was good for us. Lots of stray cats and dogs going around, they generally didn't bother us but they do beg when your trying to eat. On our last day a cat actually stole some pizza from my son's hand. The dogs kept us up a few nights with howling and barking outside. Overall it was a nice family holiday after 5 years of not being abroad but we wouldn't go back. If your looking for a 4 star experience go elsewhere.
