My husband and I spent our 2 year anniversary at this pousada, and we both thought it was excellent. The staff surprised us with champagne for our anniversary which was a very nice surprise :). Elizabeth at the front desk was always very friendly and full of information, as well as the person in the mornings who spoke English (I'm sorry I forget your name now!). The rooms are and the entire pousada are clean, welcoming, and charming. The location was great, being close to the shops and restaurants, but also very quiet. I would definitely recommend this pousada to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly experience. Great breakfasts, too!

“Great little b and b”

Hi 4 of us stayed here through a very wet week. We had no complaints. Spotless rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels and sheets daily. Fantastic breakfast anf very friendly staff and owners. Nothing was to much trouble. Its also in a wonderful location just around the corner from the main reaturant… more

This is a lovely Pousada, really something special. The best thing about this place is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, and especially of the owner Alberto. We arrived very early and rather travel worn, having caught the overnight coach from Camamu. Alberto gave us a full breakfast while we waited for our room to be ready. The breakfasts are great - fresh juice and fruit, cereals, yoghurt, the usual bread, cheese and ham, and eggs or pancakes cooked to order. There is also a different savoury pastry or bread each day and at least 3 choices of homemade cakes - a real feast. The swimming pool is small but well looked after and very refreshing, especially at the end of a long day of sunning oneself on one of the local beaches! The standard of cleanliness is excellent, and the general standard of maintenance is also very good, something we found to be quite a contrast to some other places we've stayed at in Brazil. Alberto speaks excellent English, which was a real plus for us as our Portuguese is virtually non existent, in spite of our best efforts. Alberto also helped us to plan some trips, and when we mentioned that we wanted This is a lovely Pousada, really something special. Alberto speaks excellent English, which was a real plus for us as our Portuguese is virtually non existent. Alberto helped us to plan some trips, and when we mentioned that we wanted to hire a motorbike for a couple of days, there was one waiting for us to use outside the door at breakfast the next morning! We also found that the Internet worked well, with 5 different routers in place to make sure that the connection was available in all of the rooms. We would happily recommend this Pousada to anyone planning a stay in Arraial D'Ajuda and really can't find anything negative to say about it.

Comfortable and tidy clean room. Outdoor pool small but nice garden. Well-maintained lawn. Great location in Arraial. Restaurants and bars can be found all around, less than 50 m.s. Friendly staff. Delicious brazilian home-made food/drinks. Great breakfast with a rich buffet including a variety of fresh fruits, local dishes. Low/reasonable prices. Just simply easy and accessible. Approved. Breakfast and location made it very attractive.
