I selected this hotel on price and Tripadvisor reviews. I was not just pleased but delighted I had selected this hotel. It has a lot of water slides so very much appeals to families. I was worried it would not cater for a solo older traveller. My requirements for a relaxed holiday was well met with lots of places to chill out. The pros 1. This hotel is great value for money. 2. Rooms a good size, clean, and well appointed, but read below about the hard mattress. 3. Food was very good. A lot of choice, chicken always well cooked and fish not over cooked. Good selection of vegetables. 4. Beach nice, oddly the amount of stones on the beach seemed to change from day to day. 5. Lovely spacious gardens. Enjoyed the flowers, trees and wildlife. Lizards and hummingbird hawk moths etc. 6. I liked the outside terraces for eating, much of it covered. So outside eating come rain or shine. 7. They have some of the prettiest cats I have ever seen and most of them very friendly. 8. The staff all work extremely hard. 9. Wifi excellent, seemed to work well everywhere except the lift, it rarely cut out on my phone. However, it was very iffy with my Chrome book. Cons. 1. The biggest problem was the mattress on the bed. It was very unpleasantly hard. I ended up with aching hips. 2. There is no covered way between the main building and the restaurant, take an umbrella or rain coat. 3. The inside bar areas became very noisy on wet days luckily even in November this did not happen much. 4. Some of the rooms have poor aspects. Though I paid for a sea view my first room had only a glimpse between the uprights of the next door balcony. The balconies of nearby rooms had views straight into my room. And the service lift next door was used by holiday makers well after midnight. I did make a point of closing the door to it on the lobby level. Second room much better. Not overlooked, and a good view of the sea, the carpark did not disturb me. 5. It is isolated though there are quite a few shops and ATM about 10-15 minutes walk. Though having been to Dalyan in May they seemed rather pricy. The Migros Jet has a loyalty scheme which is very disadvantageous to visitors. 6. I missed having a small heated outside pool. 7. They have gluten containing pastry items next to vegetables, and so there is cross contamination by people using the wrong tongs. 8. I would have liked more low calorie drink options. 9. There are only sun loungers on the beach. I would have like some higher chairs. 10. There was no lock on the toilet door. I was worried that the cleaner might come in the room at the wrong moment. 11. Not much in English on the TV. But wifi worked well. 12. They kept cleaning the floors during meal times, the machine was not so bad but the noise from the moving tables and chairs was disturbing. But mostly a very good holiday. First and foremost thank you Club Calamera Serra for a wonderfull stay I can honestly say you are doing a great job every member of staff was hard working polite and clearly professional in what they do. Reception check in quick and friendly great Bell boy service I didn't fancy carrying the cases any further. The hotel is spotless everywhere you go there are cleaning duties being done bar staff on point under pressure with some queuing but soon to he served a good variety labelling of gluten free options would help however if you speak with guess relations they will help you and give you a form to take down to the restaurants show it to head of the restaurant and he will gladly help you for example gluten free bread in the morning worked well for me. If you use the speciality restaurants let them no of any allergies in advance they will make special meal for you. All round great hotel. I will be back.

I enjoyed my 1-month stay here overall, the sea-view was amazing & hotel gardens & trees are lovely - I love all that!! Some hotel staff was very nice to begin with and remained that way, e.g. Cenkay to whom I'd like to say a big "Thank you" for making my stay very comfortable! Most of the kitchen staff were very nice! Thank goodness I'd found fresh dishes & natural fresh produces every day (I was worried about negative reviews on hotel food been repetitive 'n' repeatedly-cooked etc..)..!..For some strange reason I had suffered acute throwing up on the 9th day morning but, luckily I have met some really nice Scotsman & Englishman who had given me the tablets to kill the germs straight away..(!)..& Allergy from certain sea creatures' stings during swimming in the sea...couldn't appreciate them enough..!!!..The 2 girls at the "Customer Relations" was pleasant & the lad named Enas of the same department took a couple of good photos for me; The night entertainment guys had become more & more friendly with days gone by...!...I'd met the GM himself 'n' asked him for Olive oil for dressing and I suppose we've got it!! The very Obnoxious one was the 'Jet2holidays' Rep. named Kann, who'd sent me an extremely disturbing letter with threatening sentences in the letter at the end of my holiday, saying the reason for the letter was because of the phone call from the Hotel --- I had contacted both the Front Desk & Customer Relations, Front Desk confirmed that they have no records of such phone call to "Jet2Holidays"; I'd chatted to the "Customer Relations" Rep., if he had encouraged Kann to write this letter, I must say that he's quite devious 'n' two-faced ..(!).. From this letter I consider Kann as a Liar who contains racism venom! He is one of the bad Turkish who works for a good British Company, he should have studied History better --- Simple example: you don't stand there accuse the Royal Air Force ruined Berlin after "The Blitz" in London during the Second World War...I for one, with the British fighting spirit, will not suffer any form of racism in silence, no matter how subtle of its form or just plain disgusting!! This Rep. is appalling for both 'Jet2Holidays' & the Hotel! One of the guys at the Spa was pleasant --- always smiles & says "Hello" every time I got there after swimming...(didn't pester me to get massages)...I think it could be better with a pool table.

Common areas of the hotel: The hotel is clean. The staff cleans it and cleans it all day. They should clean the rooms better. When passing from building no. 1 to the building where there is a restaurant, SPA and others, there is a problem when it rains or it is very cold and guests must to walk in a coat and with an umbrella. Some kind of covered walkway would be nice. The food: The food is varied, excellent. The hotel, like all hotels in Turkey, has a problem with cats and their "excrements". The hotel asks guests not to wear swimsuits and shorts to the restaurant. It also has message boards. Guests go to the restaurant in swimsuits and shorts, and the staff does nothing - just watches. If the hotel has rules, it should also insist on their observance. Staff: The behavior of the staff is strange. Young people, as well as old men, look significantly and expect that their guest - I am an old woman - will be the first to greet them. We from Europe are used to young people greeting elders and men greeting women. If the staff doesn't want to greet me, they don't have to. just don't let the staff look at me clearly that I have to say hello to the staff. Staff in the SPA: There are also young Asian girls. The height of insolence is that I greet them at the entrance to the SPA area and she doesn't even say hello! I was surprised that in the SPA they have a problem with a leaking toilet that no one has to fix. It was like this for the whole 14 days. I was going to offer to fix it I myself. The pool is significantly smaller compared to the pictures in the catalog. Space with an indoor pool. It is very cold by the pool. It is an extension like a greenhouse. Metal frames, simple glass. When it is 5°C outside, windows warmed from the "warm" steam from the water can be up to 10°C. The air in this space is also around 10°C, so water warmer than air is evaporates and condenses on the cold windows and cold walls and runs down them. If the temperature of the air were equal to the temperature of the water, the water would not evaporate and nothing would flow down. The water in the pool is warmer than the air, but it is cold for swimming - swimming is uncomfortable. The lifeguards came from outside dressed in rough clothing, especially the older one, and they are surprised that they are warm by the pool, so they open the windows so that there is not so much heat and so much steam. Could some elementary school teacher teach these lifeguards a lesson on why warm pool water evaporates and why it condenses on windows? And what should be done to prevent this from happening? The colder the air, the greater the evaporation. The same temperature of water and air - no evaporation. Garden: The garden is well maintained, clean, colorful and beautiful.
