“Nice hotel”

Very friendly reception on arrival, in both senses, and a safe place to store my bicycle overnight was no problem. The restaurant was closed, but I had prior warning of this when booking. Very nice room at the back of the hotel, overlooking the park. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning.

“Nordic walking trip”

I stayed here with 50 Nordic Walkers from Ireland. The Hotel was very nice, it is a beautiful building in the Park in Allevard so very central and right beside the thermal spa. The rooms were very clean but a little dark, my only problem was there were no shower curtains and no stopper in the bath… more

I stayed here with 50 Nordic Walkers from Ireland. The Hotel was very nice, it is a beautiful building in the Park in Allevard so very central and right beside the thermal spa. The rooms were very clean but a little dark, my only problem was there were no shower curtains and no stopper in the bath. It made for interesting washing technique trying not to wet the floor.

The Parc hotel is full of character and charming, really a lovely hotel to stay in. The hotel is fairly central in the town which is a plus. Another plus to staying in this hotel is its proximity to the local sulphur spa which is just across the park from the front of the hotel, recommended the sulfur spa!!! The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and have beautiful views of the local area and the snow caped mountains..(April) The hotel also has very good wifi connection of which was surprising and also it was just a matter of login on to the wifi and registering to get access, loved it that I didn't have to go looking for username and password details. Breakfast buffet was good and over all my experience of the food was good with room for improvement. Only negatives about the hotel is the lack of facilities in the hotel room such as a hairdryer and kettle. Other simple things like replacing toilet rolls, bathroom towels on a regular bases or when needed were not done. My partner and I would return to the room to find that we had only one towel between us and that we would have to go looking for another towel, something we should not have to do!! Over all the hotel is charming and I would recommend staying there..

Stayed with the Family here just to break up the travel to Val Cenis. The Hotel has a classic charm of a hotel being refurbished and family run. Check in was very quick and prompt. Stayed with the Family here just to break up the travel to Val Cenis. The Hotel has a classic charm of a hotel being refurbished and family run. Check in was very quick and prompt. We arrived ~8pm and got to our rooms quickly. There is limited parking outside on the street, but there is a Hotel car park about 100m up the hill. The hotel has its own resturant which looks good, but we didnt use it. Breakfast was additional to room charge, and we didnt take it. One problem was that the room we had contained one of the old half baths. would be better to convert to a proper shower. All in all nice start to the holiday
