The Hotel is just lovely both inside and out, and what a setting. The girls on reception are all amazing, couldn’t fault anyone. Very attentive, always welcoming and always smiling. The barman also in the hotel very chatty makes for a nice relaxed atmosphere. Luca in the garden bar was fab too, chatty and an asset to the hotel. Have to mention the cleaning staff, superb, room cleaned every day, and they too were very pleasant if we met in hallway. Views from our room were outstanding. We had breakfast included. It had lots of choice, but my favourite was the awesome selection of pastries to go with the lovely coffee. We really do hope to get back. Again well done to all for making our stay a very memorable one.

This was our second visit to this hotel. We stayed 5 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we booked again for our annual holiday. What a surprise when we arrived that the lady on reception remembered us from our last visit! Lovely! This hotel is spotlessly clean - the housekeeping have the place very immaculate throughout. Beautiful gardens and restaurant. I would definitely recommend a sea view room - the views are stunning. Pool area was quiet with an infinity pool which was amazing (though in October, the water was a bit chilly - I swam in it daily). The hotel provides a beach bag with flip-flops) as a gift. They also provided towels to use at the pool. This is a classy hotel with fabulous staff. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh breads, pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, bacon, fish and the cakes were amazing). There is a free shuttle bus which goes into Sorrento several times a day - pick up is late evening so it’s ideal for popping into the city for dinner with no expensive taxi costs when coming back. The small town of Sant Agata is about 10 mins walk from the hotel (be careful as pavement is limited) - there are some fabulous restaurants to be found there. We love this hotel and will definitely return. There were no negatives that I can think of.

“Fabulous location with spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius.”

THANK YOU to all the staff at the Hotel Due Golfi - from the cleaners to the reception staff we only ever encountered smiles and helpful service. They even opened the pool bar for us on our arrival so we could have a snack. The room, although slightly old fashioned was spotless and the view of the Gulf of Naples & Vesuvius from the balcony, high up in the Sorrento hills was to die for. Breakfast was great - a wide range of breads, pastries, continental and cooked items with fabulous freshly squeezed juice & good coffee - a bit more and greater variety of fresh fruit would have been welcome. The view again was amazing. The hotel restaurant is pricey but we had the most spectacular Chateau Briand for 45 euros pp & you can choose to head 300m up into Santa Agata for a fab pizza if fine dining isn't your thing. The bar offered the best Negroni, though again the drinks were on the pricey side. The only reasons for not rating excellent was the slightly scruffy pool area grass and soulless bar next to Reception - (although we were there after high season) and the hideous europop music at breakfast. We also thought one small complimentary bottle of water per couple on arrival per stay was rather mean given the other places we stayed offered complimentary water on a daily basis.
