“Great Hotel in Salta!”

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. Reception was great at giving restaurant and experience recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and included an assortment of different cakes and pastries, and other breakfast foods. The location is amazing as it is only 3 blocks away from the main square. Rooms have fully functional heating and air conditioning (which is great for Argentina). My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is terrible: it works for about 2 minutes and then goes out for 20 minutes, and could barely reach the 3rd floor. Also for some reason my room key deactivated two times, but as previously mentioned reception was very helpful.

Very clean with friendly staff. It is 3 blocks from the main square. Everything was great except the breakfast was poor compared to everywhere else we’ve stayed - unless you like cakes! Lots of cake selection. No eggs or cooked option. Toaster appeared dirty and didn’t really work. Cereals very basic and cold coffee. The restaurant for evening meal was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend. Ate there 3 nights as it was so good but limited choice. Waiters friendly and smiley. Salads as a main we’re very good. Beef and chicken also excellent.

“SCRAPING TO A 4* RATING”

Room was fine. The a/c unit was very quiet. The location of the hotel was great, no more than a 15M walk from most of the principal tourist sites in Salta. Room was fine. The a/c unit was very quiet. The location of the hotel was great, no more than a 15M walk from most of the principal tourist sites in Salta. Like the city, it fails a bit on the colonial charm end. The reception area has two nice sitting areas. Did not have dinner here but others in the group thought it was good. The worst of it was no coffee and tea facilities in the room and the fact the restaurant was just not ready at 0600 on departure day when we were leaving early, tepid coffee being a sacrilege. The four stars noted at the front entrance might be a bit high but it closer to that than a 3* property.

A nice, clean hotel just a short walk away from the main square, it was all we needed. Staff were helpful and there’s a decent, but very sweet, breakfast selection. The hotel could do with a bit of modernising and freshening up as it feels a little out of date, we really struggled with the slow wifi too. Having said that, the hotel does provide good service for a fair price and we would stay again.

The hotel was good but it shouldn't be rated as a four star hotel. In addition to the quality of the place, I was also surprised to learn that my booking was more expensive than it needed to be. I paid US$135 per night using booking.com and learned during my stay that the same reservation would have been US$70 if booking directly with the hotel. I recommend to avoid using booking.com and instead book directly with the hotels. I also mentioned this price difference to the hotel management and they weren't interested in the situation.
