“Do not book direct with the apartments”

Location is good - there are wonderful walks along the coast. Apartment is fine. Roomy enough and well equipped for cooking etc. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Two good balconies. Location is good - there are wonderful walks along the coast. Apartment is fine. Roomy enough and well equipped for cooking etc. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Two good balconies. Do not book direct however. I saw the apartments on Airbnb but emailed and asked about booking direct with CielAzul. Sabrina the administrator will tell you to pay a deposit by bank transfer, then insist when you arrive that you owe an extra 15 euros to cover her bank charges!! As she charges exactly the same rate as Airbnb, book through them to avoid this. She is very friendly and efficient during the booking process but couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge my email explaining my unhappiness about arriving and being asked for extra money. NB She will have also avoided Airbnb's charge to landlords by advising me to book direct.

“Not what we expected ...”

We got our apartments off Housetrip and the photographs made it look a lot bigger than we expected. However the size wasn't an issue. We didn't expect not to get any cleaning services at all for the two weeks we were there. Our beds were not changed at all for the two weeks. We arrived on a Saturday got the towels changed the following Wed and then nothing till the following Thursday... and we left early that Saturday so the towel situation wasn't great so our floor mat was filthy too as this came with the clean towels. I didn't mind the cleaning side so much as I kept on top it myself and I think with a lot of private rentals they do leave you to do your own cleaning, But the towel situation & bedding wasn't really very good considering the price. The apartment snack bar caters for veggies only... Staff were all nice at the snack bar. The apartment was a 10 minute walk to Es Canar and a bus ride to Santa Euralia and we were ok with the location as we knew it wasn't in the center of any where. Lovely beaches 2 minute walk away Cala Martina & Cala Pada 5 mins away. The French guy that lives on the complex is rude & struts around like he owns the place. We found out he actually looks after the gardens !! he was soooo rude. It served it's purpose but we wouldn't go back. Also no where to store any valuables no safe. And its two glass doors that's all so it could get broken in to easily. However it is in a nice safe quiet area but I do think that needs looking at we weren't happy leaving our money in there. The apartment was nicely decorated, two nice bedrooms that were nice a cool as it had air con in the hall so that was a good point. Plenty of crockery, pots & pans, but we dont cook in we eat out so we didnt really use them. There is a good supermarket round the corner that serve good food not just veggie stuff like. Also a great hotel round the corner great pool great food we spent most of our days round there it was called Accora really nice just at the bottom of the road turn right after the supermarket you can see it there. We had a lovely holiday nice & relaxing very nice & quiet in the evenings at the apartments which was ideal.
