“Almost perfect”

This is a great hotel with views to die for, however that all depends on what you are looking for. We stayed for 3 nights and our room on the second floor was large comfortable with fantastic views. The parking for the parador is found in a separate barrier controlled part of the left hand main car park. The restaurant again had great views food was ok but maybe could be get a samey if staying for a longer period of time. It was a little surprising that for the 3 nights we stayed the chicken dish was not available. We didn’t try the spa and thought that €35 each for 90mins a little steep, primarily just to get a view from the infinity pool. The cafeteria bar was good and above place to sit after a hike. Breakfast was good and well organised although at times appeared to be short staffed. All of the staff were very good and very friendly. There are lots of walks to do in the area and probably the best walk of the 4 we completed leaves from the car park and follows the ridge.

“Heaven on earth”

Amazing place. Very quite with lovely views and nice hot water in the pool. Spa very relaxing and staff very helpful.Sunset super beautiful and horizon views amazing.The bar it's spectacular and the breakfast is superb. The hall with the fireplace it's absolutely idyllic.

“Magnificent hotel with a splendid view”

We stayed at the hotel for three days and it was a pleasent experience. The view is remarkable and there are many exciting trails in the sorrounding area. We do recommend a stay at this hotel.

We bicycled here and stayed for 3 nights hiking and cycling in the area. Amazing views and gobs of hiking trails and roads to hone your climbing and descending skills. While we had a suite on the 4th floor, it was smaller than the renovated rooms on the second level. Our room had a large patio, tea kettle but no coffee. The bathtub was a jacuzzi which was nice but needed an extra scrubbing. You pay for the view at the restaurant. They have a variety of seafood and meat options. The breakfast buffet is good. The spa pool is open air with options for jets and waterfalls. Massage and spa are all extra. Be prepared for changing temperatures and bring plenty of warm gear. Hiking poles are available to rent.
